My precious friend, Jesus loves you, and He says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18). This world leaves us as orphans, but Jesus never does. When we commit sin, we are taken away from God and away from people. When I was 17 years old and away from Jesus, I had all my friends around me to enjoy the world, but then a sin rose up within me. I felt so lonely. I was a failure in my studies and thought my life was over. It was then that my parents compelled me to come to a meeting. My father was speaking, and I was not interested, but one thing he said struck my heart. He said, “You are trying to become a somebody in the world using worldly means, but now you have become a nobody. Today, come to Jesus.” He said, “He will not leave you as an orphan. He will come to you. He will be your friend, your brother, your father, and He will perfect everything for you.” Come to Jesus, and then God will make you a somebody.

I heard it, and a deep conviction came into my spirit. I cried and cried like a baby. I gave up my sins, asked for forgiveness, and asked Him to help me. He filled me with His Spirit, and from then on, the Spirit of Jesus became my friend, speaking to me, guiding me, protecting me, leading me, and blessing whatever I did, bringing great accomplishments and enabling me to be a blessing to millions. Yes, the same Jesus is ready to come into you, not to leave you as an orphan, but to make you His child, God’s child. And He says, “When I come to you, your sorrow will turn into joy” (John 16:20). What causes loneliness in our lives? Fear of people. Fear comes into our hearts when we think someone may destroy us, overcome us, harm us, or criticise us, and we withhold ourselves from speaking, doing, or even talking to people. Sometimes when we do wrong, even lust over others, fear comes because of guilt. The disciples were caught in that fear after Jesus was crucified and buried (John 20:19). But Jesus resurrected and came through closed doors to break their fear and said, “Peace! My peace I give unto you. Rise up with My peace.” He gave them His Spirit and said, “Those whom you forgive, I will forgive. Whom you bless, I will bless. You will not be an orphan. You will become a blessing.”

Today, God wants to turn you out of your fear. Whatever has caused fear of people, Jesus is coming to take it away. He wants you to receive all His love so you can pour that love on others and receive love from people. Would you give your life into the hands of the Lord today? There was another lady, Mary Magdalene. After Jesus died, she searched for His body, only wanting to anoint the dead body with perfume. But when she was crying, Jesus appeared to her and said, “I will not leave you as an orphan. I have come alive for you” (John 20:15). She was no longer an orphan. Is everything dead around you? Are you lonely, unable to find the Lord or answers to your prayers? Jesus is coming to you and building your life. The same Mary carried the good news that Jesus is alive and brought life to the disciples. You will bring life to your family and friends. Do not be afraid. Jesus also came to His disciples who had no food, asked them to cast the net, gave them fish, cooked it, and fed them. Even today, He says, “I will come and feed you. I will give you what you need. I will not leave you as an orphan.” My friend, ask the Lord to come to you. He is here right now. He is coming into your heart. You are no longer an orphan. Say, “Thank you, Jesus”, and receive Him right now.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, I thank You for loving me. I receive You into my heart right now. Lord, please forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. Take away my loneliness and my fears. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and Your peace. Be my friend, my Father, and my guide. I trust You with my life, Lord. I am no longer an orphan. In Your precious name, I pray, Amen.
