Dear friend, today we are going to meditate on I Samuel 2:30. It says, “For those who honour Me, I will honour, and those who despise Me will be insignificant and contemptible.” He will certainly honour those who honour His name. That’s why He says, “Wherever two or three are gathered in My name, I will be there in their midst.” How much the Lord longs for us! He expects us to come to His presence. He expects us to humble ourselves. The Bible says in Matthew 23:12, “Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.” In another translation, it says, “shall be raised to honour.” We are created to honour God. Joseph honoured God even though he was humiliated and put in prison. Even in prison, he prayed to God. That’s why the Pharaoh of Egypt exalted him. In Genesis 41:38, Pharaoh said, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the Spirit of God?” Yes, the kings of the nations will honour you when you humble yourselves before God. If we give deep respect to God, God values it.

Do you know how a man of God called Vedanayagam Sastriar used to worship God? He used to worship God standing upside down, with his head on the floor and feet on the top. He used to show deep respect to God and revered Him greatly. God values such prayer, and that family is blessed today. Most of them in the family worship God. God has given them beautiful voices, and his children’s children are singing for the Lord. Yes, the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. God values when we worship Him with reverence. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:9–10 that we have to value God and honour God with our wealth. Likewise, a family is blessed today by honouring God.

This is the testimony of Bro. Rudramachari and Sis. Vijayalakshmi from Taralapalli village, Kazipet, Hanamkonda. They came to know Jesus personally in the year 2019. This brother used to worship other gods, and because of witchcraft and black magic powers, his wife Vijayalakshmi faced many problems. One day, their friend, a school headmaster, prayed for them and introduced them to the Jesus Calls Ministry. They visited the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Warangal. The prayer intercessors prayed for them and enrolled them in the Prayer Tower Building Fund. This couple gave Rs. 5000/- to the ministry, believing in the prayers of the Dhinakarans. They also received our magazine. God turned all their sorrows into joy and delivered them from all witchcraft powers. What a blessing it is to give to God! They humbled themselves before God and, with much sacrifice, gave an offering to the ministry. They honoured God with their wealth, and the Lord honoured them with a new house. Today, they believe in Jesus, the greatest miracle that can happen for anyone, and they have the joy of serving the Lord. “For those who honour Me, I will honour,” says the Lord. Let us not take God for granted. Let us give our hearts to honour Him with everything He has given us. When our children were born, the first thing my husband did was dedicate them to the Lord. That is why our children are blessed today. So let us come forward to give our everything to God.

PRAYER: 
Loving Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart. Lord, teach me to honour You in all that I say, think, and do. Forgive me for the times I have taken Your presence and Your blessings for granted. Help me to humble myself before You and seek Your face every day. Give me a heart that reveres You and worships You with sincerity. Lord, help me to honour You with everything You have given me, including my life and my wealth. Please raise me up to honour according to Your promise and fill my life with Your favour and grace. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
