Dear friend, today we are going to meditate on Psalm 144:12, “Our sons in their youth will be like well-nurtured plants, and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace.” God loves little children. When parents brought their children to Jesus, He picked them up and blessed them. Today, especially, God wants to bless your sons and your daughters. In Psalm 128:3, the Bible says, “Your children will be like olive shoots around your table.” More than us wanting our children to be blessed, God loves to bless our children. The Lord causes you to flourish, both you and your children. Along with you, the Lord wants to bless your children.

Today, I want to share a beautiful testimony. Sis. Phani Kumari and her husband, Sivavira Venkataramarao, shared this testimony. They had two daughters— the elder, Jyothipriya, and the younger, Shantipriya. The elder daughter had completed her studies and was waiting to get settled in life. Her parents were looking for the right partner for her and had been waiting for a long time. It was very frustrating for them because time was passing, and most of their daughter’s friends were already settled. The parents longed for their daughter to be blessed in the same way. With much prayer, they continued watching our Jesus Calls TV programmes on ETV2 and the Aradhana channel.

On January 3rd, 2020, my husband, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, was sharing God’s word. During the prayer time, he prophetically called out their daughter’s name. He said, “Priya, God is going to give you a wonderful husband. You have been praying for that. Don’t be afraid. You have seen many disappointments, but God will surely give you a husband who will love you. Today, that grace is coming upon you, and you will also be successful in all your endeavours.” The parents could not believe this. They said to each other, “We did not even share our hearts with Dr. Paul Dhinakaran. How was this possible?” And on February 13th, their daughter Priya got engaged, and she was married on June 21st last year. By the grace of God, they are now settled in the UK, where she completed her higher education. The entire family is now enrolled in different facets of the Jesus Calls ministry, and they are so grateful to God. They thanked us, saying, “Because of this ministry, our children are blessed.” Yes, your sons and daughters will be blessed, too. They will be like pillars to adorn a palace, like well-nurtured plants, like olive shoots around your table. May the Lord increase you and your children!

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord, thank You for the promise that You love and bless our children. Just as You laid Your hands on little ones, lay Your hands on ours today. Let our sons grow strong and fruitful like well-nurtured plants. Let our daughters stand firm and radiant like pillars in Your palace. Bless them with Your wisdom, joy, and a heart that follows You. Cause our family to flourish in Your love and favour. Let Your grace flow through generations after us. We thank You for increasing us and our children, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
