Dear friend, today the Lord speaks to us from Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of your shame, you will receive a double portion.” Our God is a God of restoration. This verse teaches us how God can bring complete transformation in our lives. The Bible also says in Psalm 126:5–6, “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” God will turn every emptiness into blessings in full measure. We may be crying and saying, “I have nothing in my hand,” and we may be crying to the Lord for a long time to receive a blessing from His hand. But be sure that God will restore everything back in our lives, and that too in double measure.

God always gives us more than we ask or even imagine. He is such a generous God. Man may just give us back what we did for them, but God gives us back in double measure. I would like to share a beautiful testimony of Arun Kumar from Kakinada. He got married in 2011; his wife’s name is Sharmila, and he has two children. In the year 1992, through his grandfather, he became a Young Partner in the Jesus Calls Ministry. From that time onwards, he experienced tremendous growth in his life. He passed his 10th examination and his intermediate, and he himself wondered how he passed his exams. When he applied for jobs, opportunities opened miraculously, and he began to witness God’s favour everywhere he went.

In 2014, Arun Kumar suffered from a gastric problem, but he continued to contact Jesus Calls every day and received prayers. By the grace of God, he was completely healed. Later, he worked in the real estate sector, and his career began to flourish, from marketing manager to general manager. Everything went well until COVID-19 hit. Between 2020 and 2024, his business struggled, and his family faced financial problems. But God was still working in his life. On December 6, 2024, when my husband visited Rajahmundry, Arun Kumar served as a volunteer in our ministry, and my husband prayed for all the volunteers. That prayer became a turning point. Growth returned to his business, blessings poured in, and he grew strong in faith. This is all because of God’s mercy. Today, as a young man, he is standing tall for the Lord. Will not God do it for you also, dear friend? Come to Jesus. Give your heart and time to God. Never give up. Have faith in Jesus. The Lord will restore double to you. Those who seek the Lord will lack nothing. You will see only an increase in your life!

PRAYER: 
Heavenly Father, I bring all my shame and brokenness to You. Please turn my tears into songs of joy. Restore what I have lost, O Lord. Fill my empty hands with Your blessings. Strengthen my faith when I feel weak. I trust in Your perfect timing and Your mercy. Thank You for the double portion blessing You have promised me, and I receive it today with a joyful heart. In Jesus’ matchless name, I pray. Amen.
