Dear friend, as we read in Ezra 7:28, Ezra said, “God has extended His good favour to me before the king, his advisors, and all the king’s powerful officials. Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leaders from Israel to go up with me.” Ezra restored the religion and restored the Scriptures of God. He was a priest, and he acknowledged God’s favour. People of this world say, “I am so lucky to have this blessing,” but God’s children say, “I have the favour of God.” Again, in Ezra 9:9, he said that God granted them new life to rebuild the house of God and repair its ruins. What a favour it was, because the people of Israel were in exile in Babylon. After they returned, God gave Ezra the mission to build the second temple. He became the builder and repairer of God’s house.

In the same way, the Dhinakarans have dedicated the year 2026 as the year of rebuilding. God clearly spoke to us through Isaiah 58:12, “Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called repairer of broken walls, restorer of streets with dwellings.” God has given you a mission to rebuild the kingdom of God. Our God is a God who calls those things which are not as though they were. He will not only make you a builder, but He will also rebuild everything that was broken in your life. The Lord will change your name. You may have been called nothing, or even useless, but when God’s favour comes upon you, He will change your name into a builder of everything. Just as the Lord changed Jacob’s name in Genesis 32:28, from Jacob, meaning deceiver, to Israel, meaning Prince of God, so the Lord will rebuild your life, too, dear friend.

I would like to share a beautiful testimony of Sis. Jyothi from Hyderabad. In the year 2021, she says her life took an unexpected and painful turn. What followed were three long years of suffering from cancer. She was diagnosed with fourth-stage cancer and underwent extreme medical treatments. She was deeply worried about her future, and along with the physical pain, there was a heavy financial burden. Doctors advised surgery, and nearly 2.2 lakhs were required for the operation. For her family, this amount felt impossible. She had an eight-month-old child and was unable to take care of her family. At this difficult juncture, she wrote a prayer request to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, sharing her pain and struggles. To her surprise, she received a beautiful reply that filled her heart with hope and peace. She was offered financial help to cover all her medical bills, including the surgery expenses. It was purely the favour of God. After the surgery and continuous prayers, she was completely healed from cancer, with no trace of the disease. What medical treatment could not do, God completed through prayer and faith. Today, she stands as a living testimony. What a good God we have! The Lord rebuilt this dear sister’s life. It was humanly impossible for her to be healed, as she was in the fourth stage of cancer, but because God was with her and His favour rested upon her, she received a great miracle. Likewise, the Lord’s hand will also be with you, dear friend. May the Lord restore everything in your life.

PRAYER: 
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your favour upon my life. As You were with Ezra, let Your hand be upon me. Give me the courage to rise and rebuild what is broken. Restore everything the enemy has damaged in my life. Strengthen me, Lord, and let me become a builder, a restorer, and a repairer. Let Your promises come alive in my life. Please use me to rebuild Your kingdom. I receive Your favour, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
