Dear friend, let us meditate on Ephesians 2:13, “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin separated us from our loving Father, but through the blood of Jesus, we have been brought near. In the Old Testament, priests shed the blood of animals as a temporary sacrifice for sins. But the Lord Jesus became the perfect sacrifice once for all. He shed His own precious blood on the Cross to wash away every sin and reconcile us to God. Hebrews 10:19 says that we now have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place through the blood of Jesus. Through that blood, peace was made between God and man. The wall of separation was broken, and we became children of His grace.

Once, in our own family, we experienced this transforming power. When my mother suffered from cancer, our hearts were broken. My father, burdened and helpless, spent years with her at the hospital. One day, he walked into the chapel and surrendered his heart to Jesus. He knelt and cried out, “Lord, forgive me and heal my wife.” My mother, who had been praying for his salvation for years, happened to see him weeping before God. Her heart overflowed with praise, saying, “This is the happiest day of my life!” That very moment, heaven touched our home. The blood of Jesus not only healed hearts but began to bless our entire family. One by one, the blessings of the Lord flowed upon us. We could boldly say, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Truly, the blood of Jesus unites, heals, and transforms families.

Dear friend, the blood of Jesus is still powerful today. Without His blood, there is no forgiveness of sins (Hebrews 9:22). Many people live with guilt, pain, and shame from the past. But 1 John 1:7 says, “The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.” My aunt used to say with deep faith, “Blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus,” whenever someone came for prayer. She would anoint them and declare healing through His blood. That same power is available to you. Will you give your heart to God today? Don’t neglect this great gift of grace. Like my father who surrendered his life, you too can come boldly before God. He loves you and waits to forgive you. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than your failures. Come near to Him, and peace will fill your heart.

Prayer:
Loving Father, I thank You for the precious blood of Jesus. Lord, cleanse me from every sin and remove every guilt. Wash me and make me new. Let the power of Your blood bring healing and deliverance in my life. Touch me in my pain and comfort me. Let Your forgiveness fill my heart today. Break every chain of sin and fear in me, Lord. Draw me close to You once again. Make me holy, joyful, and filled with Your peace. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
