Dear brothers and sisters, what a great privilege it is to be called the temple of God. In 1 Corinthians 3:16, Paul reminds us that God's Spirit dwells within us. The God who filled the tabernacle and Solomon's temple now lives in His children. Since we belong to Him and have been purchased by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we must honor Him by living holy lives. Every day we should pray, "Lord, let my thoughts, words, and actions be pleasing in Your sight."

Romans 8:9 teaches that those who belong to Christ have the Spirit of Christ living within them. We cannot live a godly life through our own strength. The Holy Spirit helps us overcome the desires of the flesh and leads us according to God's will. As Romans 5:5 says, God's love is poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we must be careful not to grieve Him but allow Him to guide every area of our lives.

In 1 Kings 8:10-11, when Solomon dedicated the temple, the glory of the Lord filled it. In the same way, when we dedicate ourselves completely to God, His presence fills our lives. The wisdom of this world cannot lead us, but the Holy Spirit directs us with God's wisdom, love, and power.

Jesus said in John 2:19-21, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days," speaking about His body. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death. Because He lives, we have the hope of eternal life and the assurance that God is preparing us for His glorious coming. Day by day, He is making us more holy and more like Christ.

God also desires to use us for His glory. When people dedicate themselves to Him and are filled with the Holy Spirit, He strengthens them, changes them, and equips them for His service. Just as God transformed people in the Bible, He can transform us today. Let us surrender our bodies as living sacrifices, remain filled with His Spirit, and become vessels through whom His power and love can shine in this world.

PRAYER:
Loving Father, thank You for making me Your temple through Your Holy Spirit. Cleanse my heart, mind, and body from everything that displeases You. Fill me with Your holiness, Your power, and Your abundant grace. Help me not to live by the flesh but to be led by Your Spirit every day. Let my life, my words, and my actions glorify You. Lord, use me for Your kingdom and prepare me for Your glorious coming. Thank You for dwelling within me and making me Your holy temple. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
