My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Matthew 2:10, “When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.” Who saw the star, and what kind of star was it? In Matthew 2:1-2, we read, “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, ‘Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.’” They were guided by the Lord God Almighty through the star to see the birthplace of Jesus Christ. In the same way, my precious child of God, you will be used mightily by the Lord through something to bring people to Him. As a star, the Lord will guide you to lead others into His presence. The star is a beautiful sign of divine guidance and joy.

Abraham too saw the stars as a sign of God’s promise. For a long time, he and his wife had no children, and when he became old, he could not have a child. That is the time the Lord spoke to him in Genesis 15:5, saying, “Abraham, count the stars if you are able to number them. So shall be your descendants.” Abraham believed God’s word, and if you read Matthew 1:1-17, you will see the descendants of Abraham fulfilling that promise. In the same way, the wise men believed in the star. They knew they were being led to something precious. They followed the star, and finally, they saw the birthplace of Jesus Christ and worshipped Him with great joy.

My beloved friend, Daniel 12:3 says, “Those who turn many to righteousness shall shine like the stars forever and ever.” In this world, you can shine as a star. You can guide many people to Jesus. Those who are living in darkness, those who are lost in sin, will be delivered through your life and testimony. Philippians 2:14-15 also reminds us to shine like lights in the world. Today, let us commit ourselves and ask the Lord to make us shine as His stars, to bring many people to the light of Christ and lead them to His joy.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being the bright Morning Star who leads me into everlasting joy. Just as You guided the wise men to Your presence, guide my life also to lead others to You. Help me to shine with Your light in this dark world and reflect Your love wherever I go. Lord, make me a vessel of Your divine presence and remove every shadow of doubt in me. Please fill me with the joy of Your presence and let my life be like the star that draws others closer to Your heart. Teach me to walk in righteousness and have faith like Abraham. Make me shine for Your glory, Lord. Amen.
