My dear friends, today’s promise verse is from Acts 16:31: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” My dear friends, today, do you have the opportunity to tell someone about Jesus and share the Good News?

We see in the Bible, in Acts, how Paul and Silas were in prison. Even in prison, they were singing and praising God through hymns. At midnight, suddenly, the prison doors flew open. There was a violent earthquake that shook the prison, and the doors flew open. Their chains fell, and all of them had an opportunity to escape. When the jailer heard the sound, he thought everybody had escaped. He thought, “Oh no, I am going to lose my job.” But then Paul and Silas said, “We are all here. Don’t worry.” Seeing all that had happened, the jailer asked Paul and Silas, “What must I do to be saved?” Then he brought his whole family to hear about the Good News from Paul and Silas. They all believed, and they were all baptized.

In the same way, my dear friends, even when struggles and problems arise in our lives, God will do a miracle because of our faith in Him. Seeing this, we will become a testimony of the living Lord. Through that incident, people will get to know about Jesus, the One whom you serve. Today, think about all the things that have happened in your life. How strong is your faith? Because of your miracle, people will know that the God you serve is the living God. That is how Paul and Silas were able to be a witness to the jailer. A miracle happened even in that jail, and he and his family were saved. You will be able to lead someone and help them believe in the Lord Jesus, and their household will also be saved. Today, let us ask God for that kind of faith: “Let my faith bring miracles, and let my miracle be a witness to this world of Your power.” Yes, that is what God is going to do through your life. 

Prayer:
Dear Lord, today, let Your children be witnesses of Your power. Just like the incident that happened to Paul and Silas in prison, let our faith in You bring miracles. Even in the toughest and most difficult situations, when You intervene, let the earth shake and prove Your power. Let people see Your mighty works and be saved. Let them believe in the Lord Jesus, and let them and their whole household be saved. Strengthen the faith of Your children and work through them, Lord. Use them for Your glory. In the midst of their difficult situations, let Your glory be revealed. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
