My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we meditate on Isaiah 62:3: “You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” What a wonderful promise! The Lord says that His children will shine as a crown of glory in His hands. When does this blessing come? When we accept Jesus as our Savior and begin to live for Him, glorifying His name through our testimony and service. Just as the priests in the Old Testament wore a holy crown while ministering in the temple (Leviticus 8:9), the Lord anoints His children with His holy crown when they serve Him faithfully. It is not an earthly crown but a divine one full of honor, righteousness, and eternal glory.
The Bible further assures us that there are crowns reserved for those who persevere in doing God’s work. 2 Timothy 4:8 says, “On that day, the righteous Judge will award me the crown of righteousness.” Similarly, 1 Peter 5:4 promises that when the Chief Shepherd appears, we will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. Yes, my dear children of God, when you rise up to do God’s work, people may criticize you, mock you, or speak falsely against you. But do not be discouraged. The Lord sees every tear, every effort, and every sacrifice. At the appointed time, He will honor you with His crown of glory. Until then, continue to stand firm, meditate on His Word, and walk in His ways, for His glory will surely shine upon you.
So arise and shine, as Isaiah 60:1 declares: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” Whether individually or as a family, commit yourself to doing something for the Lord. It may be prayer, sharing the Gospel, serving in the church, or helping those in need. Whatever it is, do it with all your heart, and the Lord will be pleased. According to His promise, He will give you a crown of glory at the right time. Let us humble ourselves today and dedicate our lives afresh in His hands, saying, “Lord, lead me in Your way, let me do Your will, and let my life glorify You.”
Prayer:
Loving Father, Thank You for calling me to be Your child. Help me to live a life that glorifies You always. Strengthen me to serve You faithfully despite challenges. Anoint me with Your crown of righteousness and glory. Guide me daily in Your will until the day of Your coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
