Dear friend, it’s Christmas. We wish you, from our whole Dhinakaran family and the Jesus Calls family, a merry and happy Christmas. Enjoy this Christmas with God’s great blessing from Luke 2:11: “Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” What a great joy that news brings. A Saviour has been born, not just for the world, but for you. He is the Messiah. He is the Lord.

For my daughter Katelyn’s first birthday, it was a COVID time that was ending, but we made it a duck-themed birthday party. We had a duck cake, and there were even actual ducks running around. We arranged for a puppet show, had games and food, and invited many of our relatives. All of them came to see the little baby. They were so eager, they accepted the invitation joyfully, brought valuable gifts, and were so happy just to see her. All this happened for one little child on this earth.

How much more should we rejoice because the Saviour of the world is born for you and for me? He has been born to us, the powerful God, the mighty God, personally to you. What a great joy that must bring to your heart. And all He asks for this Christmas, the only present He is asking for, is your heart, so that He can fill it with joy and live within you. When Jesus comes, wounds disappear, pains disappear, and we receive great healing and deliverance. Shouldn’t we celebrate this with the greatest joy, placing all our love upon Him? Right now, shall we say, “Thank You, Jesus, for being born to me.”

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, I thank You for being born for me. Thank You for coming as my Saviour and my Lord. You are the mighty God who stepped into my life. This Christmas, I give You my heart completely. Please come and live within me, Lord, and fill me with Your joy. Let every wound in my life be healed, and every pain disappear. Bring Your healing and deliverance into my life today. I rejoice in You because You were born for me. Thank You, Jesus, for this greatest gift of salvation that I receive through You. Amen.
