My precious friend, the Lord has called you to be a wise master builder. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:10, “According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation… let each one take heed how he builds on it.”

Every life needs a firm foundation, and that foundation is Jesus Christ Himself, the immovable Rock. 1 Corinthians 3:11 says, “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” The Lord desires to build your life as a royal dwelling where His throne is established and His glory is revealed. He is looking for people who are faithful to Him (1 Corinthians 4:2), not merely those who are gifted, influential, or successful in the eyes of the world. 

The Lord strengthens our foundation through faith. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing… the Word of God.” When we face troubles and uncertainties, God’s Word speaks to our hearts and gives us faith. As we hear His promises and believe them, our faith becomes an unshakable foundation for victory. 

The Lord also strengthens our foundation through tests and trials. Isaiah 28:16 speaks of a “tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone for a sure Foundation.” Gold is refined in fire and silver is purified through heat. Likewise, God may allow us to pass through trials to prepare us for a higher place in His purpose. Job, Abraham, Joseph, and Daniel all experienced testing, yet the Lord stood with them and brought them through with honour. When God allows you to become a tested stone, He is also shaping you into a precious stone. Therefore, do not allow trials to shake your faith. Let them establish you more firmly upon Jesus.

God also establishes our foundation through His prophetic Word. He speaks through His servants to reveal His plans, prepare His people for what is ahead, strengthen their faith, and call them to watch and pray. Prophecy is not meant to glorify a person or make a prophet famous; true prophecy always points us to Jesus. When God gives a promise or prophetic Word, it may not be fulfilled immediately. But the delay is a time to depend on God, persevere in prayer, and remain faithful. As Habakkuk 2:3 says, “Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.” Ultimately, prophecy points us to the return of Jesus Christ and calls us to prepare our hearts, proclaim His message, and bear witness to Him. 

My friend, before the Lord returns, surrender yourself completely to Him. Build your life upon Jesus Christ, remain faithful to Him, grow in faith, endure your trials, and stand firmly upon His Word. Then the Lord will establish your life and reveal His glory through you.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, I surrender my life completely into Your hands and ask You to be the firm foundation of my life. Help me to remain faithful to You, grow in faith, and trust Your Word even when I walk through trials. Teach me to wait patiently for Your promises and to remain steadfast when their fulfilment seems delayed. Prepare my heart for Your coming and help me to bear witness to You through my life.
