My friend, God wants to bring you to a spacious place. Maybe you are hard pressed from every side; wicked people may be pressing you, sins may be pressing you, and the problems of life may be pressing you. Deceptions may be pressing you. But God is going to give you a release. Jesus will release you and bring you to a spacious place because He delights in you. He rejoices over you with singing, and He will rescue you. This is God’s promise for you as found in Psalm 18:19, “He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me”. Now, what is the spacious place that He brings us to? In Psalm 118:5, the Psalmist says, “When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord.” Hard pressed by failure, hard pressed by losses, hard pressed by the agony and suffering in my spirit, by deceptions of wicked and double-tongued people, and by depressing spirits, at that time, I cried to the Lord, and He rescued me and brought me to a spacious place.

Secondly, Psalm 31:8 says, “He has not handed me over into the hands of the enemy.” Yes, people may be jealous. People may try to use us and squeeze everything from us and run away. People may not believe in us even though they are with us. People may not believe in the grace God has given us. But God will deliver us from the enemy and bring us to a spacious place. Before the eyes of your enemies, He will anoint your head with oil and prepare a banquet for you. You will say, “Everything is peace around me now.” Solomon said, “My father had to fight all his enemies lifelong, but God has given me peace on every side. I have no enemies. I am in a spacious place.” So, he built the greatest kingdom. God will do it for you. You will build in peace, and whatever you do will prosper.

He will deliver you from your enemies and from the situation of being hard pressed. Are you hard pressed for finances, for success in life, for miracles in your ministry, or because of problems in your family? The Lord is coming. He was crucified on the cross, bound on every side, yet He conquered death. He said, “Into Thy hands I commend My spirit.” My spirit is hard pressed, but Lord, I commend it into Your hands. The Spirit of God came and resurrected Him, and He rose up. You will rise up. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19). Because you have loved the Lord, He will rescue you, deliver you, set you on high, and honour you (Psalm 91:14–15). And again, Colossians 1:13 says, “He delivers us from the dominion of darkness”, and II Timothy 4:18 says, “He rescues us from every evil attack”. God will rescue you. Now, He is bringing you to a spacious place. Just believe and walk into that blessing.
