Dear Friend, God’s heart is to keep us safe and present us before His glorious presence. Jude 24 says, “He will keep us from stumbling and present us blameless before His glory.” This world is full of temptations and situations that can make us stumble, yet Jesus guards our steps. Isaiah 52:7 tells us that He makes our feet beautiful, and John 13:1 shows how Jesus washed the feet of His disciples to keep them from stumbling. Even those who forsook everything and followed Him were protected, except Judas who listened to the devil. Today, we too must keep our hearts and feet clean through love for Jesus, so that we may always remain in His glorious presence.

We must also guard our hearts from the influences that cause stumbling. Proverbs 4:23 warns that everything that flows into our hearts can lead us into sin, while Matthew 15:19 lists evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander as stumbling blocks. Like David in Psalm 51:12, we should pray: “Restore to me the joy of salvation; sustain me and keep me from falling.” Our actions can also cause others to stumble. Luke 17:1–2 teaches that unrighteous behavior, especially in parents, can lead children into ungodliness. Righteous relationships, humility, and godly example are essential to prevent causing others to fall.

Finally, our speech and conduct towards others must be holy and humble. Romans 14:13 warns that judging others or speaking falsely about them causes stumbling. Following Jesus requires holiness; without it, we stumble at the Rock, but with it, we stand firm. John 1:14 reminds us that in holiness we dwell in His glorious presence, full of grace and truth, becoming the temple of the living God. Let us love all people, pray for them, and walk in peace (Hebrews 12:14). May God keep us from stumbling and present us fully in His glorious presence, sustaining us with His Spirit and glory.

Prayer:
Loving Father, Thank You for keeping me from stumbling. Guard my feet and heart from every temptation. Restore the joy of salvation in my life. Help me walk in holiness and peace with all. Protect my family and guide our relationships. Keep me from judging or hurting others. Make me an example of Your righteousness. Lead me to dwell in Your glorious presence. Fill my life with Your grace, truth, and glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
