My dear friends, the Lord will give you peace and security. Be courageous! Today's promise is from Jeremiah 46:27, where the Lord says, “Do not fear. Do not be dismayed. Behold, I will save you from afar, and your descendants from the land of their captivity.” The Lord assures you that He is with you. Do not be afraid or discouraged. He will deliver you and your family and fill your life with His peace and divine protection.
In John 14:27, Jesus says, “My peace I give to you.” This is not the temporary peace that the world offers but His everlasting peace that calms every fear and anxiety. Psalm 147:14 declares that the Lord establishes peace within your borders. He will bring peace into everything you do and over everything that belongs to you. He will surround your life with a hedge of peace so that no one can steal the blessings He has given you. According to Philippians 4:6–7, when you refuse to worry and instead present every request to God in prayer, His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind. Isaiah 54:13 also promises that your children will be taught by the Lord and that great will be their peace. May the Lord grant this wonderful blessing to your family today.
The Lord is not only your peace but also your refuge. Psalm 46:1 says that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. He will hold you in His loving embrace, lift you up, and keep you secure where no one can snatch you away. Proverbs 18:10 declares, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Run into the name of Jesus and experience His divine protection. Cry out to Him, saying, “Father, I have come running to You. Carry me in Your arms.” Just as the Lord lovingly carried little children, He will carry you through every challenge and difficulty.
The Bible also declares in Romans 16:20 that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. According to Proverbs 16:7, when a person's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies live at peace with him. The Lord Himself will fight your battles, and those who oppose you will eventually seek peace with you.
We see this beautifully illustrated in the life of Isaac. The Philistines stopped up all the wells that Isaac had dug, including those dug by his father. Yet Isaac never argued or fought. Instead, he continued digging new wells with patience. Finally, Abimelech came to Isaac and acknowledged God's hand upon his life, saying that everything Isaac sowed produced a hundredfold and every well he dug yielded water because the Lord was with him. He requested Isaac to make a covenant of peace, recognizing that God's favor rested upon him. The same blessing belongs to you. You bear the name of the Lord, and He will continue to bless you abundantly. Just as the people of Israel multiplied even in the midst of oppression, you too will increase despite every opposition. Therefore, be courageous. As Psalm 23:5 declares, the Lord will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He will anoint your head with oil, and your cup will overflow. He will prosper you, protect you, and become your everlasting refuge. Under His shelter, you will flourish and experience His abundant peace.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your precious promise to give me Your peace and be my refuge. Help me to trust You without fear or anxiety and rest securely in Your loving presence. Surround me and my family with Your divine peace, protect us from every danger, and keep us safe under Your mighty wings. Let Your peace rule in our hearts, our home, and every area of our lives. Bless my children with Your wisdom and lead them in Your ways. Fight every battle on our behalf, bring reconciliation where there is conflict, and crush every work of the enemy under our feet. Let Your favor, protection, and overflowing blessings remain with us always. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
