My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are going to meditate today from II Thessalonians 3:3, which says, “The Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” This world is full of evil. Around us, people can be evil. When we are blessed by the Lord, they become envious of us and try to do evil things against us. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all godly people who sought the Lord diligently, yet they, too, had to go through all kinds of evil in their lives. Joseph faced many problems because of his own brothers. They wanted to destroy his life because he was carefully following the Lord along with his father. But when we read about his life in the Bible, we see how God protected him, because he was so careful to follow the ways of the Lord.

My friend, cling tightly to the Lord. Even if people from your own home trouble you or seek to destroy your life, do not be worried. Look to the Lord. Joseph looked to the Lord and always tried to do everything that was pleasing to Him. You also do the same; do everything that pleases the Lord. Read the Word of God. Follow His ways. Then the Lord will be with you. He will establish your life and guard you against all the evil things that follow you.

In our own lives and ministry, we, too, have had to face many evil things. But every time, we had the practice of looking unto God and tightly clinging to His feet. Prayer, prayer, prayer — it is only through prayer that we have the Lord very close to us. My friend, do the same thing. The Lord will never let you down. He is a faithful God. Surely, you will come out of all your problems.

PRAYER: 
Precious Heavenly Father, thank You, Lord, for Your promised protection. Even when I am surrounded by evil people, Father, I put my complete trust in You, and I cling to Your feet for Your divine protection, because You, Lord, are my only hope. You are my only hope, strength and joy. Please perfect everything for me, Lord. Even now look unto me, Lord, for I am Your child and be with me. Please guide me in all my ways, and bless me according to Your riches in glory, Father. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
