My precious child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, the promise given to us is from Proverbs 28:20: “A faithful man will abound with blessings.” My friend, check your life. Are you faithful to God in following Him? Are you faithful in loving the Lord? Are you faithful in doing all good things before the Lord? If you are faithful, the Lord will bless you abundantly. You will be richly blessed by the Lord. I Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” And II Thessalonians 3:3 says, “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.”

In the Bible, we read about David, who had a close communion with the Lord. He was just a shepherd boy, yet he loved the Lord and found Him as his friend. According to Psalm 23:1, he says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” If you read the whole Psalm, it is wonderful to meditate on every sentence. Hallelujah! All God’s abundant blessings will come upon you also when you have the Lord as your shepherd. What a mighty presence of God was with David throughout his life. Though he went through many struggles, temptations, and problems, the Lord never left him. Hallelujah! When the Lord is with you, you too will be filled with His presence and joy.

David, who was once only a shepherd boy, became a great king because he faithfully followed the Lord. In the same way, you can also be blessed, my friend. Just follow the Lord with all faithfulness. Then the Lord will bless you abundantly and honour you before others. The same faithful God who established David will establish you also, guard you from every evil one, and fill your life with His abundant blessings. Now let us pray, and may the Lord come and honour you and bless you richly.

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord Jesus, thank You for being faithful to me in every season of my life. Please help me to follow You with all my heart and remain steadfast in loving and obeying You. Lord, be my Shepherd and guide me through every struggle, temptation, and fear. Just as You blessed David abundantly, let Your favour rest upon my life also. Teach me to trust You completely and walk closely with You each day. Let my life abound with Your blessings and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
