My friend, until now, you have walked in the fear of God, sought His will, waited patiently in His presence, and kept your heart, mind and deeds holy. Therefore, from this day forward, the Lord will establish you firmly in Him. Jesus says in Matthew 16:18, “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” We are His church, the temple of God, and His Spirit dwells in us (1 Corinthians 3:16). Never think that you are insignificant. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Isaiah 51:1 says, “Look to the rock from which you were cut.” Look to Jesus and remain firmly rooted in Him. Nothing can separate you from His love. Romans 8:35 reminds us that neither suffering, betrayal, the works of the devil, nor the burdens of sin can separate us from Christ. Even when you feel that your love for God is weak or you have many shortcomings, remember that His love for you is far greater than anything you could offer Him.

When you are established in Christ, you receive living water for cleansing, renewal and transformation. 1 Corinthians 10:4 says, “They drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.” The Israelites suffered oppression, yet God came to them as their Saviour. Through Moses, He delivered them and led them through the Red Sea into freedom. In the same way, the Lord will bring you out of the painful things and bondages of your past and lead you into a new life. Jesus says in John 7:37, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” Whatever has made your heart weary, come to Jesus. He will refresh your soul, restore your strength and lead you into new life. He will provide for you and cause you to experience His goodness, even in difficult places.

When you build your life upon Christ, you receive divine strength to withstand whatever comes against you. Luke 6:48 says that the person who builds his house upon the rock is not shaken when the flood comes, because the foundation is strong. Though storms and pressures come, because your life is joined to Christ, you shall not be moved. Your family, work, business, calling and future will not be shaken. As you build your life upon God’s Word, your foundation will grow stronger. No storm will destroy what God is building in you. Deuteronomy 32:13 says, “He nourishes you with honey from the rock, and with oil from the flinty crag.” The Lord will provide for you and sustain you, even in places that seem impossible.

Finally, there is divine protection for those who belong to Christ. Jesus has promised that the gates of Hades will not prevail against His church. Powers of darkness may rise against you, but they cannot overcome you. You belong to Jesus, and His Spirit dwells within you. Philippians 2:10 declares that at Jesus’ name every knee will bow. Therefore, do not be afraid. The One who dwells in you is greater. Stand firm in Christ. As Romans 16:20 says, “The God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet.” 

PRAYER: 
Heavenly Father, please establish my life firmly upon Jesus, my Rock. Cleanse my heart, renew my mind, and lead me into the new life and freedom You have prepared for me through Your living waters. Provide for every need and let me experience Your goodness even in difficult circumstances. Give me strength to stand firm through every trial and opposition. Protect me from every scheme of darkness and keep my family, calling, work and future secure in Your hands. Let Your Spirit dwell richly within me, for I am Your temple, and You are my unchanging foundation. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
