My dear friend, today we will be meditating on Psalm 84:11, which says, “No good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Yes, God will fill you with His goodness as you walk blameless in His sight. But what does it mean to be blameless? In Psalm 119:1, we read, “Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.”
We see a man in the Bible who lived blamelessly, Daniel, who was taken as a captive to Babylon. He had many chances to give in to the rulers' commands, even when it went against God’s laws, just to protect his life. But Daniel remained faithful. When a rule was made to worship only the king, he didn’t let go of his faith. He continued to pray three times a day. He didn’t let those rules interfere with his relationship with God. God saw Daniel’s heart, how pleasing and faithful he was, and He honoured him in due time. God blessed Daniel with gifts that amazed rulers, and He lifted him up to rule over the kingdom. But it didn’t happen overnight. Daniel faced many trials, tribulations, and tests. Still, he kept his faith and obeyed God’s Word. God did not let him down. He gave him every good thing. No good thing was withheld from His faithful servant.
Even today, you may say, “I am a righteous person, my ways are blameless. Where is my reward? When will the good thing happen in my life?” My dear friend, even if you're walking through a season of trial or tribulation, God will deliver you. He will reward you in due time. Just as He lifted Daniel and made him a ruler, God will do the same for you. He will give you the healing, the child, the life partner, the job you’ve been waiting for, the success in your business, the deliverance from your trouble, and He will lift you up and honour you. No good thing will He withhold from the blameless. So, be encouraged, my friend. You will be honoured in due time. Keep your trust and faith in the Lord, continue to walk blamelessly, and live righteously in His sight. God will honour you.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your promise that You will withhold no good thing from those who walk blameless before You. Strengthen me to walk in Your ways, just like Daniel did, faithful, fearless, and full of trust in You. Let my life be pleasing in Your sight, and let my heart never turn away from You. I believe that, in Your perfect time, You will reward me. You will heal me, bless me, provide for me, and lift me up. Thank You, Lord, for honouring Your children who walk in righteousness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
