My precious children of God, I welcome all of you to this program. May the Lord speak to each one of you and bless you all. Today’s promise is taken from Psalm 122:7: “May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” According to this verse, I want everyone who is hearing the Word of God to receive the peace that passes all understanding. Just to give us this peace, the Lord Jesus gave His life on the cross. Romans 4:25 says that the Lord Jesus was delivered up because of our offenses and was raised because of our justification.
If you read John 4, we read about a woman called the Samaritan woman. When she came to fetch water, Jesus was also sitting there. She was living a sinful life, but when she heard the Word of God from the Lord Jesus Christ, it cleansed her completely. She became a child of God and a vessel of mercy. Romans 9:23 explains this to us.
And if you read 1 Thessalonians 5:23, it says, “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” See how the Lord changes our lives. Shall we read Hebrews 13:20-21? “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well-pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Yes, my friends, come to the Lord. He is the God of peace. Let us pray to the Lord to give us this divine peace.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for the wonderful peace You are giving to Your children. You have said, “Ask, and it shall be given unto you,” and today we ask You, Father, to fill us with Your divine peace. Fill our hearts and our homes with Your peace. Sanctify us completely and preserve our spirit, soul, and body blameless before You. Take away every worry, fear, and care of this world. Cleanse us from every sinful way and make us vessels of Your mercy. Work in us what is pleasing in Your sight and make us complete in every good work. Let Your peace rule in our lives and homes. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
