Dear friend, today we are going to meditate on Zechariah 10:12. Here it beautifully says, “By My power I will make My people strong, and by My authority they will go wherever they wish. I, the Lord, have spoken.” The Lord says, “I myself will lead My people.” What a loving God we have, isn’t it? That’s why David said in Psalm 18:32, “It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” And in Proverbs 21:31, the Bible says, “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory comes from the Lord.” Yes, dear friend, it is the Lord who gives us victory in all our battles. If God be for us, who can be against us?

In this world, we see how defence forces prepare for battle. In Israel, they have advanced technology, and the defence forces give training to their citizens, both men and women. They are prepared for battle, yet the Lord says, “I am the one who prepares you. I am the one who gives you strength.” The Lord Himself went before the people of Israel wherever they went, and He fought all their battles. Even today, the Lord is doing that for His people. That is why the horse may be prepared for battle, but victory still comes from the Lord. As David said in Psalm 16:8, “With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” The Lord stands with us as our defence force. The Lord is our defence. The Lord is a mighty warrior. With Him, we can win all battles.

In this world, we have trouble, but it is nothing in the eyes of the Lord. God is greater than all our troubles. Do not be discouraged, my friend. Nothing formed against you will prevail; no weapon forged against you will prevail. The enemy may have many plans, and people may rise against you, but you will win all your battles and come out victorious. Never be discouraged. Be still in the Lord. As David said in Psalm 62:5, “Rest, O my soul, in God alone; my expectation comes from Him.” Yes, dear friend, your strength comes from the Lord, and you will walk in His authority. It is enough that you have been afraid; now you will rise in His strength. You will drive out the enemy, and the Lord will give you power to overcome and win every battle.

PRAYER: 
Heavenly Father, I thank You that my victory comes from You alone. Be my strength and my defence in every battle I face. Go before me and make my path secure. Help me to trust You and not be shaken. Quiet my soul and let my expectation rest in You. Fill me with Your power and authority to overcome. Drive out every fear and every work of the enemy. Lead me into victory for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
