My dear friend, today, we are meditating on the promise verse found in II Corinthians 1:20, "All the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him, Amen, to the glory of God through us." According to this powerful verse, all the promises that God has given you are “Yes” and “Amen” in Christ. Today, you may be waiting for God’s promise to be fulfilled in your life. God may have given you a great plan, a great promise for you and your family, or for your work, your business, even your future. And now, you may be waiting, longing for that promise to come true. You may be going through many struggles. You may be suffering. It might seem like everything has come to an end. Perhaps you have even lost faith in the promise that God once gave you. But you are not alone. Even in the Bible, we see how Abraham doubted whether God’s promise would come to pass. Sarah even laughed when she heard that in their old age, they would have children and countless descendants. We also see the Israelites, when God had promised to bring them out of their suffering in Egypt. They must have wondered, "When will we ever reach the Promised Land?" When God promised them a Saviour, a Messiah, to deliver them, it must have seemed impossible. They were under captivity and in slavery. How could they possibly believe such a promise in those circumstances? And yet, in every single case, we see this one truth of God fulfilling His promise. Yes, God gave Abraham and Sarah a beautiful child, even in their old age. Abraham became the father of a nation. God led the Israelites out of Egypt, and they did enter the Promised Land. And finally, Jesus came, just as God promised, as the Messiah, to save His people from sin. He came as our Saviour and delivered His people. Every time God promised something to His people, He never let them down. He faithfully fulfilled His promises.

Even in our own family and ministry, God gave many promises, and He was faithful to fulfill each one. In the midst of sickness, financial problems, and poverty, God gave a promise through my grandfather, Dr. D. G. S. Dhinakaran. God promised that He would build a university. At the time, there was nothing in his hands. It seemed impossible to believe. How could such a big project ever come to be? But God was faithful to fulfill that promise and the plans He had given His servant. Today, Karunya stands as a deemed university, ranked among the top universities in the nation and the world. Thousands of students graduate each year and are placed in high positions across the globe. Whatever God promises, no matter how hard it is to believe, it is Yes and Amen for us.

Today, you may be in suffering. You may be in financial need. You may feel like you have nothing in your hands. It may be impossible to believe the promise that God has given you, whether it's for a new business, a life partner, or something else in your future that you do not yet see. The doctors may say it is impossible for you to conceive. It may seem impossible for you to recover, even to survive. But if God has promised His healing, He will surely make you live and cause you to enjoy His blessings. So today, cling to God’s promise. Because in Christ, His promises are Yes and Amen, for you.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I thank You for the promises You have spoken over my life that are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus. Even when I walk through struggles, suffering, or seasons of waiting, help me to trust that Your Word never fails. Strengthen my faith when I am weary. Remind me that Your timing is perfect and that no circumstance can cancel the plans You have for me. Lord, I hold on to Your faithfulness. Help me to walk each day with confidence, knowing that You are working behind the scenes. Let my life bring glory to You as Your promises come to pass. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
