My dear friends, today we have a wonderful promise from Psalm 41:1, “Blessed are those who have regard for the weak.” Many times we wonder why we should help the weak, the poor, or those in need when we have struggles of our own. Yet Jesus reminds us in Matthew 25 that whatever we do for the least of His brothers and sisters, we do for Him. Every act of compassion offered to the helpless is an act of worship to the Lord, and He never forgets such love.

A sister named Paramjit from Gurdaspur experienced this truth first-hand. She had been connected with Jesus Calls for 25 years. While all her younger sisters were happily married, she remained unmarried for many years. People questioned her faith and mocked her, asking, “Where is your God?” Yet she continued to fast and pray, asking God for one desire—a godly life partner.  After waiting for ten long years, she wrote an email to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran seeking prayer. His reply brought great peace to her heart. He encouraged her with God's promises that her hope would not be cut off and that the Lord had plans to prosper her. Holding firmly to those promises, she continued to trust God. In 2009, at the age of 44, God blessed her with a wonderful husband, Mr. Peter, and they began a joyful married life together.

Soon after their marriage, they enrolled in the Family Blessing Plan. Though her husband had a good job in the Electricity Board and both loved the Lord, they remained childless for five years. Their hearts were broken, and because of their age, they feared they would never have children. Even during this painful season, they chose to support underprivileged children through SEESHA. They decided to become a blessing to children who had little hope. To their amazement, within two months of supporting those children, God performed a miracle. Paramjit conceived, and in 2015 they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl whom they named Mahima. Today she has grown into a gifted child, excelling in her studies and using her talents for the glory of God.

As Paramjit and Peter showed compassion to needy children, God fulfilled the deepest longing of their hearts. The blessing they had waited for over many years came when they chose to bless others. This is the promise of God. When we have regard for the weak and serve them with love, the Lord Himself remembers us, honors our compassion, and blesses us with the desires of our hearts. Whatever miracle you are waiting for today, trust God, serve others with a willing heart, and He will reward you according to His perfect timing.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, thank You for teaching me to love and care for the weak as You do. Give me a compassionate heart that willingly serves those in need, knowing that whatever I do for them, I do for You. Remember every burden, prayer, and longing in my life, Lord, and bless me according to Your perfect will. Reward every act of kindness done in Your name and let my life reflect Your love to the world. Fill me with Your grace to be a blessing to others, and fulfill the desires You have placed in my heart.
