My dear friends, it is a joy for me to see you this morning. Today you will be meditating on the promise from Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Today, are you brokenhearted? Are you filled with sickness? Are you seeing the sickness coming back again and again? No matter how much treatment you take, is it not going away? Because of that, are you broken? Do you feel weak? Today, the Lord says that He will heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds.

By His stripes you are healed. Jesus was wounded for you. He knows the pain that you are going through. He knows how weak you feel in your body. He knows the fear that is gripping your heart regarding your future. Today, He will heal you and make you new. 

That is what happened to a dear brother named Suresh. He shared his testimony from Kakinada. He was diagnosed with throat cancer, and the doctor said that he might lose his vocal cords. They had to operate and remove the cancer. Hearing this, he was brokenhearted. He thought, “I may lose my voice completely.” After he received the diagnosis, he went through two operations. Even then, the cancer did not go away. He was filled with fear and anxiety about his future. He was feeling physically and emotionally weak. He was feeling broken and full of fear. During this situation, he received the Jesus Calls magazine. He read a word saying, “I am the Lord, your healer.” He held on to that word, and it gave him so much comfort. Following that, he went to the Bethesda Prayer Center to attend a meeting. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran was praying for everyone individually. He also joined and prayed with him. Immediately, he felt peace in his heart and felt God’s comfort. After that, he went to the doctors to take a scan, and an amazing thing happened. The doctors were amazed and said that no trace of cancer was found. They told him that he was miraculously healed. He was filled with so much joy. Indeed, the Lord Jesus is my healer. 

Yes, my dear friends, now he is completely well, and he is living with so much joy. The Lord will do that for you. You may be watching with a broken heart, asking the Lord, “How much longer will I suffer? Is this my fate? What did I do to deserve this?” But the Lord says that He will heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds. The doctors may say it is impossible, but we have a God who turns every impossible thing into something possible. So today, believe in Him. Receive His comfort. Receive His strength for your life. He will heal you completely.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, heal every broken heart watching this program. Today, they may be broken, falling apart, and feeling weak. Their sickness may be eating them alive and taking away all their strength. They may be feeling helpless, Lord. But pour out Your healing power upon Your children and bring life into their organs, bodies, minds, and hearts. Breathe Your life into them, Lord. By Your stripes, let them be healed. Touch them with Your healing hand and give them complete healing right now. Bind up their wounds and let them be made well. You are their healer. We put our trust in You and receive Your healing. Glorify Your name, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
