My friends, it is a joy to receive today's promise from God with you. Let us receive His Word and pray together. Today's Promise is from Proverbs 16:13: “Kings take pleasure in honest lips; they value the one who speaks what is right.” 

In one nation, there was a minister who became wealthy by following corrupt practices. He treated people harshly, forced money from them, engaged in illegal businesses, and exploited helpless people for his own gain. Using his influence, he gathered many people to his side. Out of fear, people followed him. As a result, he became extremely famous and wealthy. Eventually, his pride grew so much that he even challenged the king for his position. He spoke against the king behind his back, spreading false accusations among the people to bring him down. When the king heard about this, he sent his officers to examine the minister's accounts and investigate all his activities. The officers returned with a long list of his corrupt deeds and wrongdoing. As a result, the king sentenced him to life imprisonment.

My friends, this is what happens when wealth is gained through dishonest means. Illegal and ill-gotten riches cannot keep anyone in a high position forever. Such success is only temporary, and in the end, it leads to a great downfall. Only what we gain through honesty will endure. This verse says that kings delight in those who speak what is right. Even in your workplace, your senior officers will value and appreciate your integrity. In society, people will trust you and say, "This is a trustworthy person."

More importantly, the King of kings in heaven delights in your honest lips. The Lord Jesus will bless you abundantly and raise you to a position of honor that will last. The glory, rewards, and blessings that God gives are eternal, and they fill our lives with lasting joy in His presence. So today, let us make a commitment to have an honest heart and truthful lips so that the King will be pleased with us.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me that honesty is precious in Your sight. Fill my heart with truthfulness and help me to walk in integrity in every area of my life, whether in public or in private. Keep me from every dishonest thought, word, and action. Even when no one is watching, let me live in reverence before You. Strengthen all those who have chosen righteousness despite facing rejection, injustice, or delayed promotion. Honor them, lift them up, and reward their faithfulness. Let Your Holy Spirit guide my words and actions each day so that my life may bring glory to You. May Your lasting blessings, favor, and divine promotion rest upon me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
