My friend, today you’re going to be filled with the joy of the Lord. Yes, that’s what the Lord is promising you today. In Genesis 21:6, the Lord says, “God has brought me laughter.” In the same way, God is going to fill you with His laughter and His joy today. Have you ever seen babies, how they laugh at things when they see them for the first time? Our little baby Jaden also, every time he looks at the fan, he gets so amazed and he starts laughing and laughing.

One day, when we were all going in the car, he was sitting on my lap in the front seat, and me, my husband Sam, and our daughter Katie were wearing cooling glasses. Suddenly, Jaden looked at all of us, and he was so amazed that he started laughing and laughing. There was so much innocence in that laughter. In the same way, God is going to fill you with that laughter today, so that you will find joy even in the little things in your life. You will be filled with the peace and the joy of the Lord.

We live in a world where so many things bother us. We are worried about our exams, about our future, about our children, but today the Lord is going to fill you with His peace so that you will keep on laughing and laughing and laughing. One day, when I was in college, one of the people who was working with me told me, “Ma’am, how are you so happy and smiling all the time?” I said, “I don’t know, sister, the joy of the Lord is within me.” In the same way, the joy of the Lord is going to fill you and take over your life today.

PRAYER: 
Heavenly Father, thank You for the divine joy that You have placed within me. Please fill my heart with Your laughter and peace today. Remove every worry, fear, and burden from my mind, and help me to find joy even in the little things of life. Let Your joy overflow in me and through me. Let Your perfect peace guard my heart always. I receive Your promise with gratitude. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
