My precious friend, the Lord’s promise for you today, for this month, is from Psalm 51:18: “May it please You to prosper Zion, to build up the walls of Jerusalem.” Our God not only prospers His children but also rebuilds every broken area of your life. Do you know what Zion represents? It is the dwelling place of God. Through Jesus Christ, your heart has become His Zion. The Lord has chosen to establish His throne within you. As 1 John 4:4 says, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” Because He lives within you, you need not fear. As you surrender to Him, He begins to build every area of your life.
Many years ago, God’s servant William Branham’s son, Billy Paul, shared a remarkable experience. One night, his father asked, “Would you like to see the angel who speaks to me?” As his spiritual eyes were opened, Billy saw a majestic angel standing behind his father. What moved him most was the angel’s gaze. Wherever Branham moved, the angel’s eyes remained lovingly fixed on him. Beloved, that is how the Lord watches over you today. III John 2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” The Lord first prospers your soul, strengthening your faith and drawing you closer to Him.
Firstly, He prospers you in righteousness. Psalm 23:3 says, “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness.” He restores you from within and establishes you so that no power of darkness can prevail against you. Secondly, He prospers you in praise. Psalm 63:3 says, “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.” When praise fills your heart, discouragement loses its hold, and your eyes are lifted to God. Thirdly, He prospers you as His wonderful creation. Psalm 139:14 says, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” You are His dwelling place, created with purpose, and His hand is upon your life.
Fourthly, He prospers you in wisdom and knowledge. Proverbs 2 promises that as you seek Him, He will show you every good path, and His wisdom will direct your steps in your family, career, ministry, and future. Fifthly, He prospers you with goodness and abundance. Jeremiah 31:14 says, “My people will be filled with My bounty.” He will refresh the weary and strengthen the faint. Finally, He prospers you in sharing His love. The greatest prosperity God gives is the privilege of becoming a blessing to others. As Jesus shapes your heart with His gentleness and compassion, you begin to love others with His love. So, be of good courage. His eyes are upon you, His hand is upon your life, and according to His promise in Psalm 51:18, He will prosper you and build every area of your life according to His perfect will.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise to prosper me and build every broken area of my life. Let my soul prosper in Your presence and establish me in Your righteousness, in praising You, in Your wisdom, and in Your abundance. Fill me with Your goodness and make me a blessing to many. Let Your loving eyes watch over me and guide every step I take. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
