"I will rejoice over you to do you good," says the Lord in Jeremiah 32:41. You must always remember that God rejoices over you. Man may have condemned you. Man may have cast you away. Man would have accused you falsely. And man may have misunderstood you. Your own thoughts about yourself would say that you are inadequate, you are insufficient. But God says, "My child, I am rejoicing over you. You have come in search of Me. You have asked Me to help you. You have given your life into My hands. You have chosen to follow Me. I rejoice over you. Yes, My child, you shall always have My goodness," says the Lord.
But you, my friend, may say, "I am inadequate before Jesus. I've had wrong thoughts. I've had wrong feelings. I've made wrong decisions. I've done things without asking the Lord. I have not cared for others as I should have." Yes, it is always good to have such fear, to become perfect before God. Because the Lord says, "He that is holy, let him become more holy." From our side, we have to analyse our weaknesses and always strive to walk in perfection. And God gives us grace to walk into a life of perfection. But when we have inadequacies, or when we feel we have not done right, that doesn't mean God has stopped rejoicing over us.
The Bible says, "The Lord rejoices over us with singing." He is the God of the yesterday. He is the God of today. And God never changes. The moment you have connected your soul with Jesus, He starts rejoicing over you. And it is that rejoicing of the Lord over you which brings you out of all your weaknesses through His strength. And you have the power to overcome every weakness, not by your strength, but by the rejoicing of Jesus over you. You're able to come out of your weakness and be more than a conqueror. May God give you that grace today. You will also rejoice in the blessings from God. When Jesus rejoices over you, He will never stop doing good to you. One blessing after another keeps coming (Jeremiah 32:40 and John 1:16). Today, this blessing is coming to you.
PRAYER:
Loving Father, I thank You for rejoicing over me even when I feel unworthy and weak. Thank You for loving me beyond my failures, for seeing beauty in my brokenness, and for pouring Your goodness into my life. Father, I surrender my inadequacies, my regrets, and my flaws to You. Strengthen me through Your joy. Rejoice over me and sing over me, so that I can rise above my weaknesses and walk in the fullness of Your grace. Let Your blessings continue to flow, one after another, just as You promised. Today, I receive Your love, I receive Your strength, and I rejoice because You rejoice over me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
