Hello friends, today we are going to read Isaiah 46:4. The Bible says, “Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am He, I will sustain you.” Yes, the Lord promises to sustain you till your old age. Many times, we worry about our future. In the current world, there is so much loneliness among people. We may think, “Lord, after 40 or 50 years, what am I going to do? I will be all alone. If something happens to my spouse, what will I do? Who will take care of me? Who will take care of my needs?” It is natural for us to feel this way.

But today, the Lord says that even till your old age, He will sustain you. When I read this verse, I was reminded of our grandmother, Stella Dhinakaran. One day, I was very worried and went and asked her, “Grandma, shall I come and help you? You will need help. Shall I come and help you?” We were all out for a meeting, and she was all alone. I asked her, “How will you manage? You are going to be all alone.” She told me, “Why should I worry? Jesus is with me.” Jesus will take care of everything. I will never get bored. I will keep talking to Him, and He will keep talking to me.

Yes, I am sure many of you are thinking the same way. “What am I going to do?” But today, the Lord says that He will sustain you and strengthen you. Grandma, till this very day, even when opening the door in the morning, she does not allow anybody to help her. She always says, “God has given me the strength, and I will take care of myself.” Yes, today the Lord is going to fill each one of you with that same strength, my dear friends. The Bible says in Isaiah 40:29-30, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Yes, the Lord is going to give you this strength, and He will sustain you. Let us receive it from the Lord.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your promise to sustain me throughout my life, even in my old age. Strengthen everyone who is worried about their future, living alone, or grieving the loss of their loved ones. Be with those whose children are not taking care of them and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Let them never feel lonely or sad. Give them strength, peace, and everything they need. Remove every financial difficulty and sustain them each day. Help them remember that Jesus is always with them and will take care of them. Fill their lives with Your presence, comfort, strength, and joy. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
