Dear friend, today we are going to meditate on Jeremiah 32:27: “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?” The Lord is asking this question to you. Is there anything too hard for Me? Yes, dear friend, in verse 17, the Bible also says that the Lord is the one who created the heavens and the earth. How did He create them? By His great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for Him, dear friend. That’s why Job said in Job 42:2, “I know that You can do all things; no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” We may say, will this thing happen in my life? It is impossible. This man is so stubborn, or this evil spirit is so strong, or you may say this evil spirit is coming upon me so strongly. And you may be saying, "This thing will never happen in my life”. But then the Lord is asking you a question, “Is there anything too hard for me to do?”
Jesus Himself says in Mark 10:27, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” We are human beings; it is hard to believe. That’s why Jesus says that with man, this can be impossible. But I am God. I have all the power in this earth as well as in heaven and under the earth. I can do everything. Yes, dear friend, once when my mother was 40 years old, she became pregnant. She could not believe herself; she was laughing within herself. She said to herself, "This cannot be a child”. And when she went to the doctors and got tested, the doctors also could not believe it, and they said there may be a cyst in your womb. One month passed, two months passed, and in the third month, her tummy became big. Then again, she went to the hospital and tested, and to all of their surprise, the doctor said, "You are pregnant”. My mother could not believe that, but she praised and thanked God. I was 12 years old then, and I said, “I’m going to have a tiny little sibling”. And we all, as a family, thanked God that night. Today, my little brother is serving along with me. What a joy and what a blessing it is.
Sarah also conceived when she was 90 years old. When the word of the Lord came to her, saying, “You are going to conceive”, she could not believe herself. She laughed and said, as in Genesis 18:13, “Will I really have a child now that I am old?” But in the next verse, the angel of the Lord said, “Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and you Sarah, will have a son.” And it exactly happened. After one year, Sarah delivered a son, Isaac. Yes, dear friend, nothing is impossible unto God. Our Lord calls those things that are not as if they are there. Don’t say that it is not going to happen to me. Whatever miracles you are expecting, they will happen. Before Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Mary and Martha did not believe that their brother would come alive again. And Jesus said to Martha, “If you would believe, you would see the glory of God. I am the resurrection and the life.” Dear friend, let us begin to believe in God. Say, “I believe You can perfect everything in my life, Lord. Whatever I’m asking God, it will happen”. Continue to believe, continue to knock at the door of heaven; the door will be open. Today it will happen.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, You are the God of all mankind, and nothing is too hard for You. Forgive my doubts, and every moment I said, “This is impossible.” Today, I choose to believe that You can do all things in my life. Strengthen my faith, Lord, and remove every fear within me. Lord, let every closed door open according to Your will. Please perform the miracles I am waiting for, and perfect all that concerns me. I believe that what seems impossible will become possible through You. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
