Dear Friend, many times in our pain we cry, “Lord, have You forgotten me? Why this suffering, this rejection, this slander?” But the Bible assures us that “The Lord remembers us; He will bless us” (Psalm 115:12). What a beautiful promise! The Lord never forgets His children. He has engraved our names on the palms of His hands. Even though there are billions of people on this earth, God knows each of us by name. He calls every star by name, yet how much more precious are we, who are redeemed by the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ! When you walk faithfully before Him, He remembers your devotion, your tears, your prayers, and even your smallest acts of love. He is not unjust to forget the work you have done for His name. Today, God says to you, “I remember you, My child. I will bless you.”
The Bible gives us beautiful examples of God remembering His people. When King Hezekiah was told he would die, he cried out in Isaiah 38:3, saying, “Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before You faithfully and with wholehearted devotion.” The Lord heard his prayer, remembered his faithfulness, and added fifteen more years to his life. Likewise, when Samson had lost his strength and his sight, he prayed, “Lord, remember me just once more” (Judges 16:28). God heard him and strengthened him again to overcome his enemies. When Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem and faced opposition, he cried, “Remember me with favor, my God, for all I have done for these people” (Nehemiah 5:19). The Lord gave him favor before the king and victory over his enemies. Each of these servants prayed one simple prayer—“Remember me, Lord”—and God responded with mercy, power, and restoration.
Dear friend, the same God who remembered Hannah in her barrenness will remember you today. She cried, “O Lord, remember me and give me a son” (1 Samuel 1:11). God heard her cry, blessed her with Samuel, and turned her sorrow into joy. The Lord who remembered Hannah will remember you in your need whether it is sickness, loneliness, or family struggles. He will heal you like Hezekiah, strengthen you like Samson, favor you like Nehemiah, and bless you like Hannah. He remembers every prayer, every tear, every act of faith. The Lord will bless your family, forgive your past, and make you fruitful again. Hold on to this truth: God has not forgotten you. He is working behind the scenes to lift you up, restore what was lost, and make your name a testimony for His glory.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for remembering me even in my lowest moments. Lord, remember me when I cry out in pain. See my tears and answer my prayers. Heal me when I am sick and raise me from my bed of suffering. Strengthen me when I am weak and restore me when I have fallen. Show me Your favor when I face opposition and give me victory. Remember me, Lord, and bless me with the desires of my heart. Fill me with joy and peace, and let me always know that You are near and loving me. Thank You, Lord, for remembering me and blessing me abundantly. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.
