As righteous parents, you are bringing great inheritance, rewards, and riches for your children. Yes, Proverbs 20:7 says, “The righteous lead blameless lives; their children are blessed after them.” Every father and mother who lives a righteous life with a blameless spirit is bringing great riches and great rewards to their children. God Himself blesses them. Let not your heart be troubled. Maybe you feel you do not have enough money to care for your children's future, or you think you have not done enough for them to rise to great heights. But the Lord says, “My son, my daughter, you have lived a blameless life with righteousness. You have done all My will, so I will bless your children. Their reward shall be great. I will do everything for your children. I will increase them.” As it is written in Psalm 115:14, “You and your children will increase.”

What are the blessings given to the children of blameless, righteous parents? Firstly, God provides for them, as Psalm 37:25 declares, and they themselves become a blessing. Secondly, their children shall be mighty in the land, as promised in Psalm 112:1–2. Thirdly, they shall increase with abundant blessings according to Psalm 115:12–14. One student from Karunya testified that his father and mother laboured on daily wages, yet through their blameless, righteous life, they led him to walk with God. He studied well and scored above 90% in his plus two, and that same year, he received a full scholarship at Karunya. Today, he studies engineering and computer science, without paying any tuition fees. This is the blessing of righteous parents! The children shall increase. It will happen to your family and your children, too.

Fourthly, Psalm 14:5 says God will be in the midst of your children. Yes, as you walk in righteousness, your children will have God’s presence with them. Fifthly, God will answer even before your children call, as promised in Isaiah 65:22–24. And the greatest blessing of all, Joel 2:28 declares that God will pour His Holy Spirit upon your children; your sons and daughters will prophesy. May God grant all these blessings to your children as you continue to walk righteously before Him as parents.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, help me to walk in righteousness and live a blameless life before You. Let my life bring blessings, inheritance, and increase to my children. Be in the midst of my children and guide them in Your ways. Make them mighty in the land and let them be a blessing to many. Answer them even before they call, O Lord, and pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them and use them for Your glory. Let my righteous living before You become a foundation for their future blessings. In Jesus’ name, I pray,  Amen.
