My friend, this month, the Lord gives you these precious promises from Psalm 147:2: “The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the exiles of Israel,” and Deuteronomy 30:3: “The Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again.” What a comforting assurance! Today, the Lord is saying to you, “Do not be afraid. I will restore you.”

Everything that has gone away from you, everything and everyone that has been stolen or snatched from your life, shall be restored by the Lord. This is God's promise for you today. Even if life has taken you to places you never expected, the Lord has not forgotten you. Perhaps you feel bound by fear, rejection, loneliness, guilt, or sorrow. Today, the Lord says, “I will set you free from every captivity.” He will restore your life, rebuild what has been broken, restore your family, gather back every blessing that has been scattered, and honour you once again.

Why is the Lord restoring you? The answer is simple. He is your Shepherd. Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd.” A good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep. Our Lord Jesus Christ laid down His life for you on the cross. He shed His precious blood not only to forgive your sins but also to bring you into His fold and keep you close to His heart. That is why the Lord will never leave you wounded, broken, or abandoned. He longs to draw you back into His loving embrace and make you whole again. Perhaps today you feel like a sheep without direction, confused and burdened. But your Good Shepherd is looking at you with compassion. He comforts the brokenhearted, heals the sick, delivers the oppressed, and restores people to wholeness. The same Jesus is still working in your life today.

Jesus says in Luke 13:34, “How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings.” This is the heart of God. He longs to gather you under His wings, protect you, comfort you, and give you rest. Perhaps pain, disappointment, or sin has created distance between you and Him. You may even feel unworthy to return. But the love of Jesus is greater than your failures. No matter how far you have gone, Jesus is calling you back today. Ask Him to be your Shepherd, and He will never reject you. Turn away from the ways of the world and surrender your life completely to Him.

When you do so, the Lord will also restore your family and your future. Acts 16:31 says, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” As you place your faith in Him, His saving grace can touch your entire household. As Psalm 23 promises, your Good Shepherd will lead you beside still waters and green pastures. He will renew your strength, refresh your spirit, and guide you in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Finally, the Lord will turn your shame into honour as He rebuilds every broken area of your life. Isaiah 62:4 says, “No longer will they call you Deserted... But you will be called Hephzibah... for the Lord will take delight in you.” Today, people may say your life is broken, but the Lord says, “No! I delight in you.” Trust Him today, for He will surely restore everything that you have lost.

PRAYER:
Loving Father, thank You for being my Good Shepherd. I surrender my life completely into Your hands. Restore every broken area of my life, set me free from every bondage, and fill my heart with Your peace. Let Your saving grace touch my family, and guide me always in Your paths of righteousness.
