God wants to give you mercy, and for that He is seated on His throne of grace. In Hebrews 4:16 the Bible says, "Let us approach God’s throne of mercy and grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy." God’s throne is the throne of grace.

What does this grace bring us? Firstly, it brings us salvation. Ephesians 2:8–9 says, by grace you have been saved through faith. It is not the works that you do. It is not the good deeds that you do. It is not how you sacrifice yourself or harm yourself. Nothing that you do physically can ever save you.

Salvation is spiritual. Only God can deal with your spirit. God is Spirit. So those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth, says Jesus. So we must connect our spirit with the Holy Spirit. And His power comes and transforms our spirit, removes the spirit of sin, and gives us the Spirit of God. May God give you this grace.

Secondly, strength in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you.” In your weakness, My strength will be perfected. Yes, this is the grace God gives you—to be strengthened in the midst of your weakness. May every weakness leave you in Jesus’ name. Through the strength which comes from the throne of grace, Jesus has already paid the price on the cross for you to be healed and strengthened in every temptation.

And thirdly, riches come to you through the grace of our Lord Jesus. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says Jesus became poor so that through His sacrifice you might become rich. He was on the cross without glory in the physical sense, so that you and I can be lifted out of poverty and lack through His grace. May this grace come upon you right now.

PRAYER:
Loving Lord, You see every burden and every oppression in my life. I have waited on You through pain, shame, and helplessness. Today, let Your deliverance come into my life. Break every chain that has held me captive for so long. Fill my heart with everlasting joy and gladness once again. Restore my peace, my dignity, and my hope. Just as You rescued Your people and set the oppressed free, rescue me also, Lord. I believe You will never let me down. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
