My precious child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today’s promise is taken from Jeremiah 31:17, which says, “Your children will return to their own land.” My friend, you might have been worried about your children who are residing away from you and going in their own way. Yes, recently we were worried about my granddaughter Sharon. She is working in America, and for a long time she never returned to India. But according to this promise, at the right time, the Lord brought her to India and did great things through her. There is a time for everything.

Let us depend only on Jesus Christ for all our goodness and mercy to receive from Him. Psalm 66:3 says, “How awesome are Your works through the greatness of Your power.” In the same way, Psalm 92:4 and 5 say, “For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.” And in Mark 16:20, we read that the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs. So, we have to read the word of God and claim the promises.

All these verses are promises of God. When you read the word of God, claim that promise for yourself. Philippians 1:6 says, “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” The Lord who has promised in His word will surely fulfill it at the right time in a beautiful way. We have to look to Him all the time and depend upon Him for all our goodness and mercy. As per His word, He will supply all your needs at the right time in a beautiful way. So read the word of God and be satisfied with all the goodness and mercy of God. Even now, my friend, commit your life to God and look to Him for all your blessings.

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord, I thank You for Your faithful promises. You are aware of my worries, especially concerning my children. According to Your word, bring them back at the right time, Lord. Complete the good work You have begun in me, and help me to fully trust in You. Supply all my needs by Your mercy and grace. I surrender my life into Your loving hands. Let Your will alone be done beautifully in my life. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
