My precious children of God, Today, let us meditate on 2 Kings 13:23, which says, “The LORD was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them.” My friends, what a compassionate God we serve! He is full of grace, mercy, and loving concern for His children. But when does the Lord pour out His compassion upon us? Isaiah 30:18 gives us the answer:“Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you... Blessed are all those who wait for Him.”

My dear friends, whatever your need may be—whether small or great—learn to wait at the feet of the Lord. Spend time in His presence, read His Word daily, and seek Him with all your heart. As you patiently wait upon Him, His compassion will rest upon you. In His mercy, He will forgive your sins, cover your shortcomings, and lead you in the path of blessing. Those who patiently trust in Him will experience His grace and will never be disappointed.

The Lord gives us another wonderful promise in Isaiah 31:5: “Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; He will shield it and deliver it, He will ‘pass over’ it and will rescue it.” Just as a bird protects its young, the Lord will defend you, deliver you, and preserve you from every danger when you remain close to Him. Therefore, make it your daily habit to wait in God's presence. Let His Word strengthen your heart, and let His Spirit guide your life. As you seek Him, His protection and favor will surround you.

Hosea 14:3 declares, “For in You the fatherless find mercy.” My friends, perhaps you have lost your father, mother, or someone very dear to you. You may feel lonely and abandoned, but do not be discouraged. The compassion of Jesus is greater than any human love or earthly relationship. He will never leave you nor forsake you. His mercy is sufficient for every hurting heart. 

Even now, let us humble ourselves before Him and ask for His compassion to rest upon our lives. As we wait on Him, may His grace, mercy, protection, and unfailing love surround us every day. May the Lord bless you richly.

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your endless compassion and unfailing love toward me. Teach me to wait patiently in Your presence and to trust in Your perfect timing. Fill my heart with faith as I meditate on Your Word each day. Forgive all my shortcomings and cleanse me by Your mercy. Defend me, deliver me, and preserve me from every danger and evil. Comfort everyone who feels lonely, broken, or abandoned, and let them experience Your fatherly love. Draw me closer to You, surround my family with Your grace, and let Your compassion guide every step of my life. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
