My precious child of God, I greet each one of you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today's promise is taken from Deuteronomy 8:18: “But remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.” This verse reminds us that every blessing, every opportunity, and every success in our life comes from the Lord.

How can we experience the power and blessings of God in our lives? The answer is found in our relationship with Him. When we are united with the Lord, we become recipients of His abundant blessings. Jesus Himself is our perfect example. In John 10:30, He said, “I and My Father are one.” Just as Jesus lived in complete unity with the Father, we too are called to walk closely with God.

How can we become united with Him? By reading God's Word, obeying His commands, holding firmly to Jesus Christ, and seeking Him with all our heart. As we do these things, our relationship with God grows stronger. One of the first lessons He teaches us is the fear of the Lord—a reverence and honor that keeps us walking in His ways.

Psalm 144:15 declares, “Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord.” This blessing becomes a reality when we choose to follow Him wholeheartedly. The Bible gives us an important example through Jacob's wives, Leah and Rachel. Leah continually acknowledged God's hand in her life and praised Him from her heart. Rachel, however, made a serious mistake. Though she was part of God's covenant family, she secretly stole her father's idols. Instead of fully trusting and following the Lord whom Jacob served, she held on to things that displeased God. As a result, Rachel was unable to reach the Promised Land and died on the journey. Leah, however, continued in God's ways and received honor even after her death. She was laid to rest alongside her husband, receiving a special place of blessing and remembrance.

What a powerful lesson for us today! God desires our complete devotion. When we remove every idol from our hearts and choose to seek Him alone, His blessings will follow us. Let us learn from Leah's example and remain faithful to the Lord in every season of life. Today, make a decision to walk closely with God, obey His Word, and seek Him with all your heart. As you do, He will guide you, bless you, and establish you in His perfect plan.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank You that my strength comes from You alone. You are my defence in every battle I face. You go before me and make my path secure. You help me to trust You and not be shaken. You quiet my soul and let my expectation rest in You. You fill me with Your power and authority to overcome. You drive out every fear and every work of the enemy. You lead me into victory for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
