Dear friends, today’s promise from God is from 2 Samuel 22:31: “The Word of the Lord is flawless. He shields all who take refuge in Him.” When we receive the Word of the Lord, it is like receiving a word directly from Him. Imagine that you are standing before the Lord, and He is speaking His promises to you. He is telling you what He is going to do in your life. What an honor and privilege it is! What a powerful experience it is to receive God’s Word. Even when we read the Bible, it is the same. The words that God shows us from the Bible every day are precious. Let us honor His Word.

There was a king called Jehoshaphat in Judah who was facing mighty armies of the Ammonites, the Moabites, and others. The people of Judah were terrified, and they all prayed to the Lord, led by their king. Jehoshaphat united them to seek God and ask Him to save them. Then God sent His Word through a prophet. The prophet said, “Take heart and do not be discouraged. This battle is the Lord’s; it is not yours.” He also told them, “Tomorrow, just go and be still and see the deliverance that God gives you.” As soon as they heard the Word of God through the prophet, the king and all his people bowed down before the Lord and worshipped Him.

My friends, when God speaks, it happens. So, take His Word and believe. The people believed and worshipped the Lord. When they went to battle, they saw only the dead bodies of the enemy armies lying in the field. Even before they could fight, the Lord had given them complete victory. What a wonder of God! His Word is flawless. It will come true in your life. Even when you read the Bible, believe in that Word and worship the Lord, for His Word will come true. He will shield all those who take refuge in Him and trust in His Word. We are also going to pray that the Word of God will go through us to the leaders of our nation, that they may receive guidance from God and hear from the Lord. Through this, may the people of the nation experience God’s refuge. The leaders also need His Word.

Prayer:
Loving Lord, we receive Your mighty Word. Help us hear Your voice every day through the Bible and receive Your guidance. As Your children receive Your Word, let them receive life, direction, and miracles. Help us believe in and cling to Your Word, treasure it, and experience Your mighty deliverance. Give us this grace from today and bring Your refuge to all who listen to Your Word. Let Your Word guide the leaders of our nation and help them make wise and just decisions. Bless the people of the nation, bring peace, and remove every conflict and darkness. Let Your blessing rest upon our nation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
