My friend, I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on John 10:11, where our Lord Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” Yes, my friend, He should be your shepherd. In I Kings 22:17, a prophet said about the people, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountain as sheep that have no shepherd.” My friend, how about your life? Do you have Jesus as your shepherd? Have you given your life into the hands of God? Do you believe that God is going to lead you every day in your life? If you read Psalm 23, we see that David had that experience. In Psalm 23:1, David says, “The Lord is my shepherd.” My friend, do you have Jesus as your shepherd? Then David continues to say, “I shall not want.”

In all six verses, he tells us what blessings he will receive if he has Jesus as his shepherd. I encourage you to read this Psalm again and again and have the same experiences in your own life. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your life. Look to the cross. Saul was a bad man, but God made him a wonderful man in His hands, a real man of God. How did this happen? He accepted Jesus as his Saviour. In the same way, my friend, right now give your heart to the Lord. Look to the Lord Jesus Christ and tell Him, “Lord, you should be my shepherd. Come into my life. Cleanse me and make me a new person.”

God will then supply all your needs. Please read the whole chapter of Psalm 23 carefully, and you will realise that all those blessings will come into your own life when you accept Jesus as your Saviour. Confess all your sins, get right with Him, and He will gladly become your Saviour. He will cleanse you with His blood that was shed for your sins on the cross. He will be your Shepherd. You will lack nothing.

PRAYER:
Loving Father, I thank You for being the good Shepherd who laid down His life for me. I come before You today with all my weaknesses, sins, and needs, and I ask You to cleanse me with Your precious blood shed on the cross. Be my Shepherd, Lord, and guide me every day, and make me a new person in Your loving hands just as You transformed Saul into Paul. Lead me into green pastures of peace and supply all my needs according to Your Word. I surrender my life to You completely and declare in faith that You are my good Shepherd and I shall not lack any good thing. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
