My precious friend, “He will teach us His ways”. That is the promise God gives us today from Micah 4:2. Yes, God has His ways. His ways are past finding out, but He reveals them to the ‘babes’ who surrender themselves totally to Him as His children. The paths of the Lord are in high places. Isaiah 58:14 says, “He makes us ride in high places”. Isaiah 52:7 says, “He makes us stand on the mountains and makes our feet beautiful, carrying the good news of the gospel and proving that God reigns through miracles. More than anything, Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, and everyone comes to God only through Me.”

Jesus is God in flesh, and through His sacrifice on the cross, as He sacrificed His body for all of us to be free from sin, He made a way, a way for us to become the children of God. Jesus is the way for you. He is opening that way for you today. As you receive Jesus in your heart, He opens the way for your life. He will teach you to know the way, Jesus Christ. Problems may come, temptations may come, tribulations may come, but He will show you the way, Jesus Christ, to overcome all of them and to live as the child of God.

How do we know the way, Jesus Christ? First, it is through the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 says, “The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and remind you of everything Jesus has said”. You need the Spirit of Jesus within you to know the way and to walk with Him always. I John 2:27 says, “The anointing teaches you all things”. Secondly, through the Word of God. Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you, I will teach you the way that you should walk.” Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path.” Thirdly, God leads through prophecy. Acts 2:17 says, “You will see visions and dream dreams”. And when you are tempted, He will show you the way of escape, as written in I Corinthians 10:13. Jesus is the way. He will show you the way you should walk. Surrender to the Lord, cry out for the Holy Spirit, read the Word of God, and seek the gift of prophecy. You will be protected as you choose to walk in the way of the Lord.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, You are the way for my life. Teach me Your ways and guide my steps. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Word be a lamp to my feet. Show me the way to overcome every temptation in my life and open the right path before me each day. Please help me to walk as Your child always. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
