My friend, today’s promise is from Isaiah 30:18, “For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all who wait for Him.” Therefore, do not be afraid. God will do justice for you in your life, in your family, and in society. The Lord does justice for His saints who love Him and do His will. Psalm 37:28 says, “The Lord loves justice and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever.” Jeremiah 17:7–8 explains how God preserves His saints- ‘they are like a tree planted by the waters, with roots firmly established. When heat comes, they do not fear. Their leaves remain green, and they continue to bear fruit even in drought.’ Even during times of global crisis, financial difficulty, or hardship, God ensures that His saints are not shaken.

Are you a saint of God, carrying Jesus within you through the Holy Spirit, listening to His voice, and doing His will? If so, God will preserve you in times of trouble and prosper you even in the greatest droughts. When you look at Jonah, even in his disobedience, God did justice for him. When Jonah fled from God’s call, the storm arose, and he was thrown into the sea. Yet God sent a fish to save him and brought him exactly where God wanted him, Nineveh. Jonah repented, obeyed God, and preached about repentance. The people turned from their sins, and God showed compassion and spared the city. This teaches us that obedience to God must come before personal honour. We minister not for our own name, but for God’s will to be fulfilled.

God also does justice by bringing forth your righteousness before people. Isaiah 58:8 says, “Your righteousness will go before you and shine like the dawn”. In 1985, our family went through severe tribulation. When God asked my father to build a university, his kidneys failed. Some mocked and ridiculed him publicly. Soon after, my sister was killed in a tragic accident, and our hearts were broken. Yet in July 1986, we fell before God and said, “Not our will, Lord, but Your will be done.” Though broken, we chose obedience. The Holy Spirit strengthened us, healed our hearts, and enabled us to rise again. By His power, Karunya University was established and today stands as a testimony of God’s justice and faithfulness. Jesus Himself obeyed God completely. He went to the cross to fulfill God’s righteousness. He died for all, but on the third day, God’s justice prevailed. The Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead. Today, Jesus reigns as King of kings. In the same way, God will honour your obedience and establish you for His glory.

God does justice by revealing His will to those who fast, pray, and worship Him continually. Luke 2:37–38 speaks of Anna, who worshipped God night and day. Because of her devotion, God revealed His plan to her, and she prophesied about the Messiah. Proverbs 21:3 says that doing righteousness and justice is more acceptable to God than sacrifice. Isaiah 1:17 commands us to seek justice, correct oppression, defend the fatherless, and plead for the widow. James 5 warns that the cries of the oppressed reach the ears of the Lord. I John 4:20 reminds us that we cannot claim to love God while hating people. When a person became the Prime Minister of a nation, he asked for guidance, and I said, “You cannot govern by favouritism. If you love every person as your own child, God Himself will secure your chair. He will run the nation through you, and whatever you do will prosper.” This principle applies to every one of us. In our families, workplaces, churches, and society, we must love and care for everyone without partiality. Live righteously. Do justice to all. Love everyone. God will do justice for you. You will be firmly established, fruitful, unshaken, and blessed. God’s justice will prevail in your life.

PRAYER:
Father God, You are the God of justice and a righteous Judge. I place my life, my family, and my future into Your hands. Please help me to live righteously and to do Your will in all things. Preserve me like a tree planted by the waters in every season. Strengthen me in times of trouble, and let my righteousness go before me as light. Teach me to love everyone without partiality. Reveal Your will to me, Lord, even as I worship You. I trust that You will do justice for me, Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
