My precious children of God, today, we are going to meditate on a beautiful promise from 2 Timothy 4:18: “The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom.” My friends, this is a promise from God. God has the power to bring you out of every evil. This world is full of evil, and the devil wants to destroy our lives. But how can we have a close walk with the Lord? Proverbs 19:23 says, “The fear of the Lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.” When we fear the Lord and walk in His ways, He leads us into life and protects us from evil.

My friends, are you following the ways of the evil one, Satan, or are you following the ways of the Lord? Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Therefore, you have to cling to God the Father. Cling to the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life on the cross for you to save you from the hands of the devil.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 says, “The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” The Lord is faithful, and He will protect you from every evil attack of the enemy. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” plans of peace and not of evil. So, cling to Jesus. When you cling to Him, you will have peace and joy.

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross and for Your promise to rescue me from every evil attack. Help me to cling to You and walk closely with You. Let me follow Your ways and not the ways of the enemy. Touch everyone who is listening today and draw them closer to You. Help them to accept You as their Lord and Saviour. Cleanse them from every addiction and deliver them from every bondage. Fill their hearts with Your peace and joy. Protect them from every evil attack and guide them safely in Your ways. Let Your plans of peace be fulfilled in their lives. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
