My dear ones! On this day too, the God who is the source of love and peace, our gracious Lord Jesus, will be with you. I give you the promise found in 2 Corinthians 13:11: “And the God of love and peace will be with you.” He is the God of love and peace. Perhaps you are saying, “I have no love! There is no one to show me love!” Or you may be thinking, “I show so much love, but there is no one to show me love in return!” To you who feel, “Nobody recognises the love I show to others,” the Lord says, “While you were yet sinners, I loved you and gave My very life for you.” He will make you experience such love.
Even amidst your shortcomings, when you think, “I have flaws; who is going to love me?” remember that His love does not depend on your perfection. His boundless and inexpressible love will reach you today. He will call you with His loving hands, hold you close to His chest, embrace you, and bless you. He did it for little children. To Jesus, you too are a little child. He will do the same for you. This is beautifully confirmed in Romans 5:8: “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” His love was revealed through the sacrifice He made for us. May His grace wash and purify you today and set you free from all your shortcomings.
This sacrificial love is further revealed in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” Jesus demonstrated this love and calls us His friends. He calls out, “You are My beloved friend.” A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Therefore, His love will sustain you and bring deliverance from your troubles. When you face those troubles, do not be troubled in heart. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Bring your troubles before the Lord and ask for His help. He shows mercy and provides the grace you need. He will bring peace into your circumstances and help you live in harmony with those around you.
Be courageous. Job 25:2 reminds us that dominion and fear belong to God, and that He makes peace in His high places. He is able to bring His peace into every situation of your life. So, whatever burden you carry today, bring it to Him. Philippians 4:6–7 says that when we present our requests to God with prayer and thanksgiving, His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds. Allow His peace to fill your heart today. As His peace comes upon you, Romans 16:20 assures us that He will crush Satan under your feet. Today, in the name of Jesus, every work of Satan and his agents is being crushed under your feet. You are being set free. May the Lord fill you with His love and peace, help you experience good things and receive good news, and give you grace to love Him in return and surrender your life wholly into His hands.
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, fill my heart with Your unfailing love and perfect peace. Help me to experience Your grace even in my weaknesses and shortcomings. Embrace me, strengthen me, and deliver me from every trouble. Let Your peace rule over every situation in my life. Crush every work of the enemy under my feet and set me free. Let Your love fill me and help me love You and surrender my life wholly into Your hands. Bring love, recognition, prosperity, abundance, restoration, and well-being into my life. Restore everything I have lost and bless my family and work. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
