Dear friend, today we are going to meditate on Matthew 5:6, which says, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Here, Jesus promises that those who have a deep desire will be filled, for He alone satisfies every longing heart. Jesus says in John 6:35, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst." Again, in John 4:14, He says, "Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." Even strong lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will not lack any good thing. Truly, our God is a God of fullness. A vessel that is full can never be shaken, and you will always feel full when you depend on Jesus and have a deep desire for Him.

The Bible says in Psalm 46:5, "God is within her, she will not fall. God will help her at the break of day." When you carry a strong desire for God, He anoints your head with oil and causes your cup to overflow. David experienced this abundance; that’s why he said in Psalm 40:5, "Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done; the things You planned for us none can compare with You. Were I to speak and tell of Your deeds, they would be too many to declare." Yes, dear friend, when we ask God, He opens the windows of heaven and pours out His blessings upon us. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. So, you will be filled, dear friend.

Paul reminds us to “always be filled with the Spirit.” When you are filled with the Spirit of God, even in times of difficulty and trial, the Lord fills you with His Spirit of joy. You will never feel alone, for the God of abundance is with you, strengthening and sustaining you. The joy of the Lord will be your strength. You are a blessed person, filled with the Spirit of God! Even today, cry out to the Lord and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit that you may live each day in His divine fullness and overflowing joy.

PRAYER:
Loving Lord Jesus, I come before You with a hungry heart. Fill me, Lord, with Your righteousness and peace. Let my soul thirst only for You and Your presence. Please make me a vessel that overflows with Your Holy Spirit. In my weakness, Lord, fill me with Your strength. In my emptiness, fill me with Your joy. Let Your living water flow through me every day. Teach me to depend on You in every season of my life. Thank You for being the Bread of Life that satisfies my soul forever. I surrender my all to You for You are my God of abundance. Amen.
