Dear brothers and sisters, today we are going to meditate from Proverbs 2:8: “He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to Him.” All we need to do is walk in integrity. Then, as Psalm 121:3 says, He will not allow our foot to slip.

In verse 5, it says that the Lord watches over us and is our shade at our right hand. Yes, the steps of a righteous person are ordered by the Lord. Though he may stumble, he will not fall, because the Lord upholds him with His hand. He will command His angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways. The angels will lift us up in their hands so that we will not strike our foot against a stone.

What a beautiful thing it is to know that God protects us in these ways. God never sleeps nor slumbers. He watches over us 24 hours a day.

Recently, I happened to watch a video that really thrilled me. An 87-year-old father and priest, Father John Bok, was driving a white Hyundai car. He was on his way to a Sunday service. While he was driving to the church, an SUV flew over his car. He was not even aware of what had happened. The driver of the SUV is said to have experienced a seizure and lost control of the vehicle. The SUV hit a pole and then jumped over Father John’s car. After the Mass, a police officer went to Father John and showed him the surveillance video. Father John was very surprised when he saw it. He said, “What a good God I have. The Lord really protected me. The Lord is carrying me in His hands.”

Yes, the Lord guards your path and protects you. Likewise, the Lord will protect you too. No evil shall ever befall you. May the Lord protect you and guard you in all your paths.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for watching over me and protecting me every moment. Help me to walk in integrity and remain faithful to You. Do not allow my feet to slip, and uphold me with Your mighty hand when I stumble. Be my shade and surround me with Your divine protection. Command Your angels concerning me and my family, and keep every evil far from us. Protect every pastor, evangelist, child of God, and every family. Let Your precious blood cover us, and help us to see, taste, and experience Your goodness every day. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
