Today's promise from 1 John 4:4 declares, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." This wonderful promise reminds us that we become powerful through the presence of God. The One who lives in us is the Holy Spirit. Though we live in a sinful world where Satan works against Christ, we need not fear, because God's Spirit is far greater than every power of darkness. The Bible describes Satan as the father of lies and the enemy of truth (John 8:44). In contrast, Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Though Satan is called the ruler of this world (John 12:31), his authority is temporary and limited. He is not as powerful as God. The wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit are far greater than any scheme or deception of the enemy.

When the Holy Spirit dwells in us, He gives us wisdom to discern the things of this world and enables us to live the abundant life God has prepared for us. Therefore, we must continually ask the Lord to fill us with His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom. Jesus Himself grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man while He lived on earth. In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us to live like Christ in this world. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. This power is not our own—it is the power of the Holy Spirit working within us. Through Christ who strengthens us, we can do all things and fulfill God's purpose for our lives.

Many young people strive hard to succeed. When they experience failure, they often struggle to accept it. Discouragement, hopelessness, and depression begin to overwhelm them, making them feel they are fit for nothing. But when we depend upon the Holy Spirit, allow Him to work in our lives, and honor His presence within us, God Himself honors us. No failure is final when God is leading us. Therefore, never be discouraged. This world is full of troubles, but Jesus has already overcome the world, Satan, and the power of sin. Through the Holy Spirit, we become more than conquerors. He who is in you is greater. With the Spirit of God, you will conquer the world.

Jesus also assures us that "As I am, so are you in this world." He has given His children authority and power over Satan. Satan's power is limited, his time is temporary, and one day he will be thrown into hell. He is already a defeated enemy. Therefore, never focus on the power of Satan. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, who lives forever as the King of kings and is infinitely greater than the enemy.

Come to Jesus today. Accept Him into your heart and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit. He will fill you with His power, love, wisdom, and a sound mind. He will give you success in life, lift your head above every discouragement, and make you more than a conqueror. The devil seeks to deceive, discourage, and crush people, but Jesus lifts us up in victory. He can raise you to become a powerful leader and a faithful servant of God, bringing His miracles into the lives of many.  The Lord is able to remove every depression, heal every oppression, touch every chemical imbalance, and let His resurrection power restore you completely. May His light shine upon you, His power be manifested in your life, and may you experience His wisdom, prosperity, protection, and victory every day. 

PRAYER:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me that You are greater than every power in this world. Fill my heart afresh with Your Holy Spirit and let Your wisdom, love, power, and sound mind overflow in my life. Remove every fear, discouragement, depression, and deception of the enemy. Help me to overcome every failure through Your strength and make me more than a conqueror in Christ. Let Your resurrection power heal every broken area of my life, bring victory over every oppression, and establish me as a faithful witness for Your glory. Make me a powerful servant who brings hope and miracles to others. Let Your light shine through me each day, and may I walk in the authority You have given me. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
