Dear friend, the promise verse for today is taken from Luke 2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” This was said by the angel to the shepherds who were tending their flocks in the field. Yes, the angels did not go and meet the kings first. They went to the most lowly, the most humble people, the shepherds. Imagine how the shepherds would have felt! They would have been so peaceful lying down with their flock, and suddenly, this angel appeared out of nowhere, and they would have got so frightened. But the angel said, “Fear not, because I bring you good news of great joy.”

Yes, that is how you might be feeling today. You are just one among the others, just doing your own work, what God has chosen you to carry, His promise. Just like how this angel came and blessed them suddenly, today is going to be the day of your blessing. My friend, do you feel left out by all the others? Do you feel unnoticed by your peers and by your supervisors? Today, the Lord says that He is going to bless you. And do you know what the shepherds did next? They ran to see Jesus. Once they saw Jesus, they were filled with joy, and it did not stop there. They went and told others about Jesus. In Luke 2:17, we see that they went and told everybody what this good news was. Today, the same blessing is going to come upon you. Jesus is going to fill you with His joy, and when you are filled with that joy, you cannot stop yourself; you will go and tell everybody, “Jesus did this for me! You also have to experience this Jesus.”

It might be just a small thing that is going to happen in your life today, but it will bring a great difference in your life and in the lives of others. One day, when Katie woke up early in the morning, she got out of bed and sat on the side. Coffee, our dog, came running towards her and lay his head on her lap. It was just a small thing, but she was so filled with joy. She said, “Mummy, see what Coffee is doing to me!” He came and lay down so sweetly in her lap, and immediately when he got up, she told everybody in the house—Sam, uncle, aunty, everyone. “See, Coffee did this to me, and I am so happy!” In the same way, it might be just a small thing that is going to happen in your life, a small blessing that you have been waiting for a long time, but that is going to change your life today, my dear friend. The Lord will fill you with His joy. So, receive it in faith.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, thank You for Your loving promise. I praise You for favouring the humble and the lowly in heart. Lord, even when I feel unseen or overlooked by people, I still rejoice in knowing that You know my name and see my heart. So, fill me today, Lord, with Your peace that no circumstance can snatch away. Let Your joy overflow within me so that I can share Your goodness with others. Please help me to trust that even small blessings carry great purpose in Your mighty hands. I receive Your promise today with faith and gratitude, fully believing that You are near and are about to bless me supernaturally. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
