Dear brothers and sisters, today we are going to meditate on Psalm 148:14: “He has lifted up a horn for his people.” This speaks of God giving His people strength, prosperity, dignity, and pre-eminence. The horn is a symbol of God’s provision of strength and dignity. Luke 1:69 says, “God has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David.” Who is this horn of salvation? He is Jesus, the Saviour of the world.

Jesus will deliver you from all your challenges. The name Jesus means the Saviour of the world. He is our Redeemer and Deliverer. He is our all in all. That is why the Bible says, “Stand still, and know that he is God.” Jesus is like a horn upon our head. When the devil comes against us, he will see the horn that God has placed upon us.

In one of our meetings in Vanagaram, Chennai, a worship service was going on. A young girl who was demon-possessed began shrieking and manifesting demonic powers, disturbing the entire crowd. So, I asked my staff members to take her outside the meeting hall. Even outside, she continued shouting, and the prayer intercessors tried to control her. But she shouted even more. I had compassion on that young girl. When I laid my hand on her, the demon left her. I was surprised and thanked God profusely. When I looked at the girl, I noticed that her glasses were broken and her whole face looked dull. But after the Lord delivered her, she was smiling. Her dignity and strength had returned. Yes, Jesus is our Horn of Salvation. He is the Horn that increases our glory and sets us above our enemies.

When someone is blessed in their career and becomes proud, people sometimes make fun of them by asking, “Do you have a horn on your head?” They say this because the person has been lifted to greater heights. In the same way, when Jesus enters our lives, He lifts our horn, giving us strength, prosperity, dignity, and pre-eminence. That is why we praise Him continually. We are created to praise the King of Kings, not to praise ourselves or boast about our achievements. Yes, the Lord has lifted up a horn for His people. He will strengthen you, honour you, and lift you to greater heights. So, do not be discouraged. Because of Jesus, you will be blessed and prosper. Even now, receive Jesus into your life and experience His goodness.

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Horn of Salvation, my strength, dignity, Redeemer, and Deliverer. Be the centre of my life and lift me above every challenge and enemy. Strengthen me and restore every dignity I have lost. Let Your presence be manifested through me, and bless whatever I touch. Use me to deliver others and make me a blessing to many. As I work hard to serve You, honour me and lift me up. Replace every place of shame with honour and cause me to walk with my head held high. Let Your salvation, strength, prosperity, dignity, and blessing rest upon me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
