Dear friends, today’s promise verse, Philippians 4:7, says, “The peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This divine peace is beyond human understanding. We cannot compare it with simply thinking about peaceful things. It takes us beyond our natural reasoning and protects our hearts and minds in Christ. It brings the thoughts of Jesus into our hearts and helps us understand His ways. God speaks to our minds and hearts, and through His voice, we experience true peace.

I experienced this myself when I was very frustrated. I started praying and crying to the Lord, saying, “Lord, look at the lack in my life. I am not doing enough for the ministry, not doing enough in my spiritual life, not doing enough for my family, not doing enough in my work for You, and not doing enough for our team members. I am useless, Lord. I am not enough, Lord.” I was overwhelmed and pouring out my tears before God, saying, “I am so vexed, Lord.” At that moment, suddenly, I felt the Holy Spirit overflowing in my heart. He took over, and a tremendous calm filled me. The language of the Holy Spirit began to flow through me.

As I spoke in those languages, I began to understand the thoughts of the Holy Spirit. He was testifying to God about me, saying, “This is Sam. These are the plans You have for him. This is the authority You have given him. This is the path You have for him.” He was revealing all these details. I felt so strengthened in the Holy Spirit that I forgot about all my flaws. He lifted me into a new dimension of God’s thoughts and ways. That is how His peace leads us. When we understand God’s ways and allow His thoughts to fill us, we experience this supernatural peace. He speaks through the Bible, through His Word, and into our hearts. He speaks through prophecy and through various occasions. He even speaks through the tongues of the Holy Spirit. Through all these moments, His peace fills us. It is far beyond anything the human mind can produce.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, fill my heart and mind with Your perfect peace that surpasses all human understanding. When I feel inadequate, frustrated, useless, or overwhelmed by problems, help me to look to You instead of my circumstances. Lift my thoughts above human worries and teach me to understand Your ways and plans for my life. Let Your Word, Your voice, and the Holy Spirit guide me every day. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and speak Your love, hope, and solutions into my heart. Guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and work miracles in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
