Dear friends, today the Lord has come to make us great because we are His children. Psalm 92:10 says, “You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox. Fine oils have been poured on me.” Psalm 92 was written by the Psalmist in the midst of great enmity. He was surrounded by people who harassed and tortured him and brought great troubles upon him. Yet, in the midst of all these difficulties, he declares, “Lord, You have exalted me. You have poured Your fine oil upon me. You have made me great.”

The Lord wants to do the same for you. You may have been harassed and tortured by people. You may have gone through great shame. You may have endured these things for the Lord’s sake, and you have patiently endured them. Now, the Lord says, “It is time for Me to exalt My child, because they have been patient for Me. Now it is My time for My hand to come upon them and exalt them.” Psalm 23:5 says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies,” the Lord will exalt you even in the presence of those who opposed you.

This is what happened to Mordecai. Haman was a high-ranking officer in the king’s court, and he influenced the king to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai. But even in the midst of this situation, Mordecai stood in prayer and urged his niece, Queen Esther, to do something. He continued to believe in the Lord’s power to save his people.

What happened? God turned the situation around. The death that Haman had planned for Mordecai fell upon Haman himself. The king ordered Haman to be hanged on the very device that he had prepared for Mordecai. Instead, the king gave Mordecai a high and honoured position in the king’s court. What a turnaround! In the same way, God will exalt you before your people and even before your enemies. Shall we receive this from the Lord? 

Today, the Lord wants to exalt you and your family. He has shown that He will exalt not only you but every member of your family. Your children will prosper. They will be exalted in their studies. Your wife will prosper. Your husband will prosper. Every member of your family will be exalted, and the Lord will pour His anointing oil upon them and use them in a powerful measure. The Lord will increase you and present you as His child. The time of exaltation has come upon you. Give glory to God.

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for keeping Your eyes upon us and for being merciful to us. Many of Your children have endured shame, pain, and troubles for Your sake. Remember them, Lord, and let Your hand come upon them in the midst of every difficult situation. Exalt them before their enemies and turn every situation around for their good. Bless their children in their studies and prosper every member of their family. Pour Your anointing oil upon them and use them powerfully for Your glory. Increase them and establish them as Your children. Let this be their season of divine exaltation. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
